The one glaring issue I have discovered is that, say I am reading the Preface to the NT and I come to a linked passage in Scripture—I click on it and it takes me to that passage, of course, but I cannot see any way to return to the precise place I was just before? Maybe you are all working to address that? Other than that, this is great! Thanks! ### 3/5 — Sliders? *2015-04-18, version 1.1* I have used this app for about two years and love it. But for some reason the sliders no longer appear when clicking on a book. So if I want to get to Chapter 23 I have to scroll over and over and can't get directly there. I wonder if a fix is needed to keep up with new Apple iOS. I like to look at footnotes and references for help while reading the Bible. The way the program handles the footnotes in a pop-up box with its own back button is alone worth the price of the app. Only thing missing is the ability to highlight and define words using the iPhone's dictionaries. ### 3/5 — Ok, but only 3 stars for now *2014-01-14, version 1.1* This is a great add-on to iMissal at a reasonable price. But it is stuck on the iOS 1.0 world due to the out of date sliders used. I HATE HATE HATE the sliders used to find chapter & verse. A roller wheel or a scrolling menu would be better. Even at it's smallest setting, the text size is still too large. Please let us make the text smaller. The highlight feature quit working and there is no one to talk to about fixing it. I purchased the app thinking if I paid for it, there would be support later if needed. ### 2/5 — Functional issues *2023-11-12, version 1.80* When viewing the tax on the top line is cut in half or not visible on some pages. This makes the app not very pleasant to use. I tried different settings, different fonts, different line spacing, but the top line seems to always be cut off by a header at the top of the page. also, the help button does not work. It brings you to a page that is not functioning on the web and therefore I could not contact the developer through the app. This was my initial impression and I have a lot more to explore but this point given the functional issues I’m not sure that I will continue to use the app. ### 2/5 — Works on iPad not on iPhone *2021-03-29, version 1.80* Works fine for iPad. Can’t change Eucharistic Prayer. Stays stuck on number 2. Would not recommend if buying strictly for iPhone. Sliders are now invisible, and you can no longer chance the font size. ### 3/5 — no syncing feature; difficult page swiping *2015-04-21, version 1.1* Unless I'm missing it, there's no sync feature. So if you bookmark, highlight, or write "margin notes" it's not going to carry over to your other device. And this seems to be the one issue they should jump on and correct. It's not user friendly to go back and forth from iPhone to iPad to make sure your Bibles match up. Page swiping could be improved as well; it sometimes takes up to three attempts to get to next page. There is a scrolling feature though if you want your experience more web based than book based. No noticeable issues with scrolling. Now I will carry my own bible with me. I love this eBible. I really appreciate all the effort taken by the Catholic Church to develop this eBible for us the youth who always have their iPad or other electronics on hands but lack the eBible. I like how easy it is to navigate and I like making notes and highlighting verses. My one problem is that you can't select more than the text that is on the screen to highlight or make notes on. If you try to scroll, it not longer selects anything.
