## What is ImKind?

The difference is in how ImKind reads what you write. Journal freely each day, or tap 'Prompt me' for a starting point. ImKind then scans your entry and highlights the kindness it notices: the patience you showed, the care you gave, the grace you extended to yourself. Most of us dismiss these moments the second they pass. ImKind catches them before they do, and teaches you to start seeing them yourself. Sometimes it follows up with a question that takes you deeper.

Beyond journaling, each morning you set an intention. Throughout the day you can log kind acts, to others and to yourself. Track your mood, set weekly or monthly goals, or take on the 30-day kindness challenge when you're ready for more.

Every Sunday, ImKind reflects your week back to you, a mirror, never a judge. Every month, it surfaces the trends and insights from everything you've written, showing you the kind person you already are, and the one you're growing into. It all lives in 'Your Reflections, Noticed': a record that becomes a mirror worth looking into.

Try free for 30 days. Then $4.99 AUD/month or $39.99 AUD/year.

### 5/5 — An app that could genuinely make the world a little kinder

*2026-08-11, version 1.0*

I absolutely love ImKind. What makes this app so special is that it goes far beyond the usual idea of self-care being a bubble bath or taking time to relax. It’s helping me learn what it really means to be kind to myself — something I’m still developing — through thoughtful, meaningful prompts that encourage genuine self-compassion.

I also love the prompts to show kindness to others. They’re creative and often things I wouldn’t have thought of myself, but they’re simple enough to actually do and can make a real difference to someone’s day.

ImKind reminds you that kindness is a skill we can practise — towards ourselves and towards the people around us. Imagine the ripple effect if everyone did just one intentional act of kindness each day.

This is more than a feel-good app; it has the potential to change the way we treat ourselves and each other. The world could certainly use more kindness, and ImKind is a beautiful place to start. ❤️

### 5/5 — THIS APP IS GREAT!

*2026-08-10, version 1.0*

I’ve really enjoyed using ImKind. The app is simple, easy to use, and genuinely makes you stop and think about how you’re treating yourself and the people around you. I really like how positive and encouraging everything feels without being over the top or cheesy.

It’s one of those apps that only takes a few minutes to use, but can actually have an impact on your mindset throughout the day. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for something positive and uplifting to add to your daily routine!

### 5/5 — A safe space

*2026-08-05, version 1.0*

A friend recommended this app to me and it’s now one of the best parts of my day! The app feels so comforting and has opened my eyes to all the kindness that already exists in my day. It’s helped me be kinder to myself and to find small ways to share that with the people around me. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a positive practice to bring into their day!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-08-01, version 1.0*

ImKind has made such a positive difference to my day to day life. I love how simple and easy it is to use, and the journaling function is great at picking acts of kindness that's often easy to overlook. It encourages me to be kinder to myself as well as to others, and I've found myself actively looking for opportunities to spread kindness because of it. The wrap ups are my favourite part, they're uplifting, encouraging, and always leave me feeling better then when I started. It's such a beautiful app.

### 5/5 — Great app, very user friendly

*2026-07-30, version 1.0*

ImKind is definitely an app I need to continue using. As someone who wasn’t into journaling, it has helped me to start and be a lot kinder to myself as well as grateful for my life. The small acts of kindness to yourself and others is a great idea!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-09-25

Minor bug fixes and improvements

### 1.5 — 2026-09-16

We've redesigned the Flow tab from the ground up.

Your flow streak now takes centre stage - a full-width card that grows with you, with a message that reflects where you are in your practice. Miss a day? Your streak pauses rather than breaks, because kindness should never be forced or transactional.

We've also added lifetime flow days, a number that never resets, no matter what. Because your long-term practice deserves to be seen, even on the weeks that don't go to plan.

Below the hero, a simple grid shows your moments of kindness, journal entries, and intentions for the week. Everything that makes up a day in flow, together in one place.

A few other improvements: Sunday reflections now arrive automatically around 7pm your local time each week, a feedback link has been added to your profile, and a fix for users occasionally seeing the paywall after returning to the app.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-07

Updates to the onboarding flow

### 1.3 — 2026-08-31

Your reflections, now on the home screen too. The insights button has moved front and centre so your personalised patterns are always one tap away.

A few quiet improvements behind the scenes, including a fix for an issue where navigating to your intention could occasionally reset it.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-30

Added a new 'Prompt me' options to the journal page. Sometimes you open the journal and don't quite know where to start. Tap the new Prompt me button and get a gentle, varied question to spark your reflection. Each tap takes you somewhere different; your day, how you're treating yourself, the people around you, or a moment of kindness.

We've also made some small visual polish improvements and squashed a few bugs under the hood.
