My screens will display, but I can’t use my keyboard. I went out and bought a trackable keyboard, and that works great. However, it’s useless because most times, I can’t see my hands. And when I do, they don’t move so I don’t press the right keys. It’s a great concept if you can ever get it to work. In the mean time, I’m looking for something else I can use. ### 2/5 — Semi-useful, constrained by iOS *2023-03-17* This app will allow you to broadcast your iPhone screen into Immersed. Unfortunately Apple doesn’t offer Universal Control so you can use your mouse and keyboard on the iPhone like you can with the iPad. You’ll still have to use pass-through to see where your fingers are on the iPhone screen so this is of limited use until Apple allows UC for iPhones. It looks like you also can’t let your iPhone’s display sleep or it will disappear in Immersed. ### 1/5 — Stay away from this company. *2021-11-18* This app is as half baked as the rest of the immersed ecosystem. It relies on screen casting which relies on your phone being awake. Ever tried using your phone with a vr headset on? Not only that, but all of their support and account management is done through discord. They have no real area on their website for account management. They don’t tell you that they have a separate download if you want to install it on a second machine. They don’t allow you to delete connected machines. They don’t allow you to change your email address. I could go on, but if you want a product that works, just use Virtual Desktop. It may not have all the features promised by immersed, but that’s because it only offers features that work. ### 1/5 — Still doesn’t work *2021-11-11, version 1.1.9* Oculus Quest 2 still can’t pick it up. ### 1/5 — unusable *2021-08-21* this app has me put in my code and then asks for an email address. the thing is, there is nowhere to actually enter the email address, as the actual prompt to do so is on the screen for about 0.5 seconds, is unclickable, and returns you to the enter code screen. thats the only issue, please fix it ### 1/5 — Can’t use the app *2021-08-06* Put the code in 15 time did not work. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2021-07-31, version 1.1.7* Accepts the code to pair to the headset and the iPad says it is broadcasting but nothing happens on the headset. Also my laptop stopped broadcasting after the latest update. Don’t bother, avoid, total rubbish, crap. Other than that it’s great lol. ### 1/5 — Still doesn’t work! *2021-05-21, version 1.0.7* Saw that the app had been updated a few days ago, but as it doesn’t even recognise what version the VR element is at, how can they ever expect it to work. Seems like they don’t want to be called out in their locked down control scheme of f over unhappy customers because we over promised failed to give proper updates or expectations and fed the users with complete lies. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-11-01* My account login is through Facebook Integration… works great on a desktop computer—does not work with this phone app, just an endless loop of login prompts :( POJ ### 1/5 — Stupid subscription tier *2024-07-21, version 1.5.7* First of all, I wanted to use it with the Vision Pro, but why everyone is doing the stupid subscription model. I mean this thing is running on my local machine. Sure you could argue you have to compensate the server costs for the co-working spaces. Then why are you putting the higher resolution stuff and the 5 virtual screens to the pro subscription? A one-time payment would be more logical. And if someone wants to use the remote/cloud functionality of co-working spaces like companies, sure they could spend for a monthly subscription. ### 1/5 — not working *2024-01-13* Linked but nothing show or steamed In vr. I feel like a good app won’t require an hour of research to get it going and in my case I never did get it to work. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — This thing is insane! *2024-05-07* I use Immersed on Mac, Linux and PC and just decided to try it on my iPad Pro and my Quest 3. It works SO well, in fact I’m using it right now. You don’t have the features of the desktop, like multiple / virtual screens, but that’s not the fault of the software it’s a limitation of iPadOS. It’s just amazing to be able to use my iPad, with the Keyboard / Trackpad, on a giant screen in VR. ### 5/5 — It wotks! *2022-01-02, version 1.2.0* Immersed on oculus quest 2 is fantastic. I can pair my pc win 10 without any problem. I was so excited to pair my ipad but it doesn’t work at all. Please fix issue. Update: 1 - Launch immersed agent on PC or Mac first with pairing code displaying on the headset 2 - Launch immersed apps on iphone or ipad with same pairing code 3 - on apps click “Launch phone in VR” then start broadcast 4 - on headset, in computer panel, your phone icon appear, click on it. 5 - iphone screen is displaying on immersed !!! But works great with the MacBook! ### 4/5 — Very awesome concept *2021-12-26* I had some trouble connecting and get things going at first but after some research I found out you need to connect your PC first and then use this app on your phone to cast your phone screen to the VR environment. The concept is pretty awesome and I look forward to the future of this. If you turn the app on and are willing to leave your phone running, it might be neat but you have to leave it plugged In to keep your phone from dying. It will get there, main problem with immersed is not being able to interact with devices using the motion controllers. I don’t mind using keyboard and mouse, years away I can see using this with keyboard and mouse to control your phone. ### 2/5 — Bugs *2024-04-11, version 1.4.1* No landscape mode and if a start a game the image just freezes I managed a workaround where I only connect if I already started a landscape game on my iPhone, then it works but there are some weird image artifacts happening.
