### 5/5 — Easter Egg

*2014-05-12, version 1.2*

For an Easter Egg, shake the phone while on the Help tab.

### 5/5 — great for learning

*2014-05-11, version 1.2*

I have enjoyed using this app to learn the INA during my commute. Up next: the Practice Manuals!

### 5/5 — app review

*2014-04-02, version 1.1*

I like the version 1.1 feature in which searched-for text is highlighted red. As an immigration attorney, I find this app very handy. No more lugging heavy law books to court!

### 5/5 — five stars

*2014-02-06, version 1.0*

I love the ease of use and comprehensive coverage of this complex and important body of law. Hats off to the developer.

### 5/5 — One Stop

*2014-01-22, version 1.0*

This is a great reference - two bodies of definitive immigration law all in one place. Easy to use, and so much lighter than books. I recommend this app for any US immigration specialist or for those just interested in immigration issues.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — mistakes make it useless

*2014-04-28, version 1.1*

Enough mistakes and holes to make it a very dubious proposition to quote law from this with any certainty -- rendering it kind of useless for practical purposes.

**Developer response:** Can you point to specific mistakes and holes? Like most software, Immigration has bugs, but I have been continuously improving the app for almost four years, many times in response to user bug reports. I take pride in my work.

### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2014-09-06, version 1.5*

Here are the things needed to be improved:
- Too small of a canvas space for text making it hard to scroll up and down on iPhone and thumb covers the text. Author should create appropriate amount of canvas depending on the length of text in the section.
- The prompt screen giving three options of copy, open, or book mark is not very intuitive. Once the section is clicked, it should expand the section, then there should be an option to copy or bookmark afterwards.

Looking forward to the update!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. I implemented variable-length sections several years ago.

You can expand or collapse sections without bringing up the menu by tapping the plus or minus on the left side.

### 4/5 — Everything you need for immigration law

*2014-12-05, version 1.5*

This app has the info I need for a quick reference, and is so much better than lugging books or a laptop around!

Navigation through the app is a breeze, but it could use some fine tuning. For one, I would make each cell sized to the text instead of scrolling. Two would be to add a button to bring up the bookmark and other buttons.

This is a must have app for any immigration attorney and I look forward to future updates!

### 5/5 — Awesome tool for immigration exam

*2020-12-10, version 4.2*

I love the plus and minus—INA is very cumbersome, so anything that makes it easier to read and carry around gets a thumbs up. Though I wish it had hyperlinks embedded to other sections.

**Developer response:** Glad you like it! Not having to carry the INA, CFR, and Practice Manuals to court was a big motivation for me to create Immigration way back in 2013, when I was working as an immigration lawyer. Unfortunately, the hyperlink feature in infeasible. In the course of developing Immigration, I manually inputted all 20,433 sections of the INA, CFR, and Practice Manuals. Implementing hyperlinks would involve examining all of them and changing the ones with section references. I understand why you might want to leave your review at four stars, but a change to five would make my day. 🙏

### 5/5 — THE App to get if you're an immigration lawyer

*2016-10-25, version 2.1*

Very good resource and fairly easy to find sections of the INA.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! I hope you are still finding Immigration helpful. With the change of business model earlier this year, I have been updating the regulations on a much-more-regular basis.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend this app

*2015-04-21, version 1.6*

Great resource! Very user-friendly and well thought out. Wish this existed for the FAM as well.

### 5/5 — Very nice app

*2015-02-28, version 1.6*

Great content. Well worth the price.

### 5/5 — 5 ⭐️s

*2014-12-16, version 1.6*

I've tried the competitor app, and this one is so much better. My favorite feature is the scrolling tab bar.

### 5/5 — all-in-one

*2014-10-25, version 1.5*

I used to lug the INA and CFR to court. Thanks to Immigration, my briefcase is much lighter now!

### 5/5 — Insane.

*2014-09-10, version 1.5*

OMG, INA, CFR, and practice manuals all in one app that's not even maddening to navigate. I don't know who wrote this thing, but... mad skills.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-08-26, version 1.4*

Very useful and nicely made. Works very smoothly and seems to have a great support team

### 5/5 — Great for students

*2014-07-28, version 1.4*

Anyone studying law, especially immigration, should get this app. Great interface and very easy to pull the information you need. Recommend! 👍

### 5/5 — fun update

*2014-07-12, version 1.4*

I would like to thank the developer for the optional new sounds in version 1.3: sad trumpet and scribbling pen. These sounds increase my enjoyment of the app.
