Then I proceeded to get barraged with emails about how life changing this would be and was offered a discount. They don’t give you an opportunity to explore the app to review it. It’s very generic and you can’t customize. When I reached out and said it wasn’t what I was looking for, they said they do not give refunds! I wish there was kind of a better “on ramp.” It’s so much stuff to buy right off the bat that I didn’t have. The recipes are nice and it does make a grocery list, but it’s just a lot for me. Really bad mistake. I signed up for 5 days just to see how I would go with it. I couldn’t get access I messaged them but got no assistance. After three days trying I gave up. The 4 th day they charged me for another month. They said this clause was in the fine print. I asked for a refund and cancelation they would not give me my money back. So now I am down nearly $50 which is a lot on a pension. ### 1/5 — STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP *2024-06-03* They offer a one week trial for 9.99USD but after the week they will take the full year membership of 35.99USD without autorisation. No warning email or notification , they just charge your card! And it is impossible to cancel the membership through the app, you need to write an email to let them know but it takes 2 days for them to get back to you. Wish I read all the bad reviews before signing up for 1 week. I paid through PayPal so at least I can make a cancelation request through them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. ### 1/5 — Totally misleading *2024-05-22* Confusing and misleading - said they would email plan - still have not got that! When I sent a email asking what the 35.00 was for they directed me to the app to download, App is free So what did I pay for still no have not got any emails or a refund. Just take the money from your provided payment method and refuse full refund because it’s in their terms & conditions. So it’s a great way to get more money out of people! The app has good information but logging things is pretty time consuming and I actually had to get another app to count my calories for my meals then re enter here. Also recommends macro nutrient breakdown but no way to track that with meal tracker. I like the idea of tracking symptoms on the app but having to go back in to the health category each time you log a new symptom is very time consuming. I used the link given by the developer. And big surprise! No response and charged yet again TODAY. Also received another email telling me I’ll be charged again in April. I guess if they never respond to me, I probably can’t ask for a refund of the last 3 payments? I have been trying to cancel my subscription as I am not using the program. The only option to do so is through an email. I have tried doing this at least 3 times and I never get a response and I continue to be charged. How do We get through to someone to cancel? I am extremely disappointed with the “no refunds” policy, especially since there is no way to address any food allergies, etc., for the meal plans. You can select gluten free, dairy free, etc., but until you purchase this there is no way to tell that. Additionally, when subscribing, they’re up cells are nonstop and somehow I ended up with a subscription and a workbook that I don’t need and don’t want. Those are also nonrefundable. I can’t even use the app it is a blank screen and they have take out an extra payment. Not happy at all. ### 1/5 — Customer first? *2024-08-16* I decided to pay for a trial of this application. I checked to see if I was enrolled in a renewable subscription and I was not on my phone. I therefore cancelled the app two days later as I found the recipes were not user-friendly. Ingredients were not always readily available in your home. The repetition of meals was lazy. Much to my surprise, I was charged for a month to continue. I was not asked if I wanted to increase that monthly subscription to a six month one or advised that I was going to be charged prior too via email. I requested a refund and was declined . Be A few more very careful using the trial as it appears to be an automatic enrolment afterwards. ### 1/5 — Wish I would have read this before I signed up *2024-08-07* I do not like this app. Too hard to use. They say they won’t charge me but the charges still show up in my credit card. I will report for fraud if this doesn’t stop by Aug 2. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Deliver What It Promises *2024-07-30* I’m vegan and the meals it is providing me contain meat and fish. I immediately asked for a refund and they don’t do refunds. If you try to build a recipe if the ingredient isn’t recommended you cannot add it. I had trouble downloading and printing the suggested documents for what to eat, not eat and the progress tracker. They come up blank. Do not waste your money or time trying to figure out this app. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t deliver what they say they will *2024-07-27* You go through a questioner asking food dietary restrictions/ preferences and then when you get your “meal plan” it is generic recipes not taking your dietary needs into consideration at all. You are basically paying for anti-inflammatory recipes and quick facts. ChatGPT gave me better info and a more customized weekly meal plan. I like to cook my meals fresh and this is basically giving you recipe options that will make four or five servings for one person so you’re eating the same thing over and over again. They’re much better programs out there, and I also found their customer service was horrible. I asked for a refund after using the program for a couple of days. I was not unable to use any recipes or make my own recipes in the app, they basically refused to give me a refund and canceled my membership immediately so I couldn’t even try to use the remainder of the time that I had paid for. I have tried to cancel this app so many times it’s a nightmare. ### 1/5 — Not worth the time or money *2024-06-12* I regretted my purchase as soon as I logged into the app. The meal plan for the week is exactly the same every day except for the weekend. I requested a seafood free plan and my plan has seafood. The app’s database of food is extremely limited and there are no restaurant options. Logging food is a CHORE. Extremely disappointed. Week 1 complete and already down 8lbs. This app made it so easy to understand the difference between foods that cause inflammation and foods that fight inflammation. One week of eating recommended foods and I already notice a difference in my skin, energy levels and sleep. I used to consistently eat nuts, brown rice, and legumes and since cutting them out the change is quite noticeable. For instance the results for gluten-free are different to those you get when you type in gluten free.
