The app appeals to customers by the IMO car wash discounts. However, the app doesn’t work and kicks you from WiFi to 5g all the time so you can’t use the app. Avoid. Once I started using them my headlights gradually started becoming matt and also the windscreen washers lifespan drastically was reduced too ### 1/5 — Does not work correctly *2025-09-17, version 1.27.1* Bought a bundle but it was marked as expired before I had reached the expiry date. Customer service never bothered to reply. ### 2/5 — It was going really well until... *2025-09-02, version 1.27.1* After a few washes and the joybof having a voucher for a free wash valud for a year, the day came to redeem the voucher and surprise surprise, the voucher was gone from my account and instead a new blank card to complete. Sent them a message to customer service and got no reply at all. Thanks guys but will be spending my money elsewhere. Feels like being robbed. Was really looking forward to the free wash. ### 1/5 — The app will take your money *2026-07-15, version 1.27.1* This app is riddled with bugs. It has repeatedly taken my money without providing the car wash voucher(s) that I’ve bought, and the suggestion of “pull to refresh” or even logging out and back in does nothing to fix the problem. Customer services don’t reply to emails asking for this to be fixed, so I’ve had to repeatedly dispute through my card provider. I’m a bit exasperated by people using App Store reviews to review the whole product. The car wash is decently reliable but this digital experience is awful and I recommend avoiding it. Unfortunately that means you’ll spend more money, as it costs more to pay at the wash. ### 1/5 — Don’t pay on your App *2026-05-31, version 1.27.1* I went to the Newbury IMO yesterday, whilst in the queue I purchased a car wash on my app. The money was taken from my credit card but no QR code was issued. I then had to pay again when I got to the front. I have now got to dispute with my credit card company. Hence I have to pay the full price £20.00 at your cleaning station in Whitstable. This happened on 18th February £20 despite paying my subscription on 27th January! This happened again today despite paying my subscription on 27th March! Also I have been paying since August last year and still didn’t get my free Ceramic wash! Can you please look into this and provide at least one free overdue Ceramic wash and my £40 back please. I recently had an issue where I purchased a car wash in the app and had to pay the attendant before I could get my car washed but an email to IMO was resolved the very next day. I have been to many car valeting places around Tonbridge, even as far as Bluewater, but IMO in Tonbridge are by far the best! You go through the car wash then drive back round for them to then valet the inside and outside. My car ALWAYS looks amazing! With the other hand car wash’s I always come away extremely disappointed. It’s cheaper too. The guys are always friendly and I know that they always make sure the end result is perfect. Daniel has reset the token several times and has now sorted the issue totally. This cannot be done via the app which I get, however also don’t go towards a free wash either. ### 3/5 — App needs review *2026-07-09, version 1.27.1* I don’t mind the IMO car wash the team are always great. The app doesn’t seem to have all of the services that are available in the ‘Car Wash Menu’. There’s no option to book an ultra HD and Triple foam plus is available to buy but isn’t on the menu, in addition the ‘what’s in this wash’ section does not expand. I’m not sure what the plus part adds to this service over the standard Triple foam. There is also an option for a special deal but it isn’t a clickable link in the app, so it’s impossible to see what it is or to buy one. Sometimes at the IMO there are options that are not in the app and sometimes there are price differences at the car wash and on the app. I wonder if there were some service name and price changes that were only updated in one place? The app needs a bit of developing to correlate with the physical IMO site. ### 3/5 — Have you heard of alphabetical order? *2026-06-29, version 1.27.1* The list of wide wheel compliant wash venues would be easier to navigate in alphabetical order. Should be a simple fix. Also it would help if you could put exactly what you get for each wash in text that doesn’t require a microscope to read it. Maybe a mouse-over pop up box would help in this. The current jpeg does allow magnification on an iPhone. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2026-04-16, version 1.27.1* I just had a diamond wax and quick valet at Dartford. It was a good wash but a rushed valet. Smears on the windows, and very little attempt to clean the boot -it was dirty to start with but almost as dirty after the valet! And the air freshener smells like an offensive industrial chemical! It took me about 10 minutes with a bucket of soapy water to clean the boot properly and get the remaining dust out. Quite disappointed really. To let the car out in such a state mean they were either unwilling or incapable of cleaning it, either of which begs the question ‘why did I pay them?’ I won’t make the same mistake again.
