Please review everything function before you applied the update, really hopeless ### 2/5 — Ability to upload via library *2025-12-17, version 7.27.2* I was told the feature is available for android not apple.. need to be able to upload multiple images from camera library. It would speed the process up for taking photos. Please update for iPhone users. Also need to be able to simply tap the screen and adjust exposure like the camera on the apple phone does. Latest update crashes if you attempt to select a specific photo to take, making it unusable on iPhone 7 pro. ### 2/5 — Great Ideas, Bad UX/UI *2023-09-18, version 7.14.1* -GOOD- 360 external spins. Internal 360 Inventory search Manual camera mode especially manual focus function. Background uploads. -BAD-; Unclear documentations, some FAQs are missing their PDFs. UI, some of the icons in camera mode are in grey and not very visible. UX, you’d need to be VERY intuitive to use this because the flow makes zero sense. (You’d have to go to Close-Ups, then Camera then only you have access to Damage capture). Camera, the app cannot fully utilise the native camera functions (at least on iPhone14ProMax) where you lose the ability to focus close-ups on 1X & 2X cameras. Bluetooth, does not work with Ricoh Theta via BT, MUST be Wifi-connected and you have to pause background uploads. Slow uploads at random. Not fully automated, you still have to manually select what angles you’re shooting at because their AI cannot recognise photo angles. On top of that, any additional angles you add will mess up your angles list and will kick your SRP down from top-spot, so your hotspots may not work. Support team that’s not helpful. Have not been able to solve any of my issues above. There is no error logging so you cannot tell them what’s wrong and they cannot tell you what’s wrong. -OVERALL- Cool concept but the result isn’t worth the trouble. ### 3/5 — Needs update *2023-03-30, version 7.11.0* iOS 16.4 broke the ability to use Bluetooth shutters again ### 3/5 — Buggy *2022-03-15* Latest update crashes often when uploading and when it crashes it shows photos as uploaded even though they don’t appear on the site. ### 3/5 — Theta Ricoh *2021-08-23, version 7.4.2* New update won’t let me connect to the theta Ricoh camera. Too much focus racking and locks focus on unintended items. Switching between different camera zooms is tedious and frustrating. The manual mode options are straight out of a manual camera app you would’ve had on an iPhone 4s. The telephoto zoom lenses won’t focus. A lot of the other shots are out of focus. It’s so far behind the native iPhone camera app it’s crazy. The “enhance” feature applies a pretty gross Myspace era HDR filter to the photos. The app forces you to take a picture of a backseat - good luck finding that on a Corvette or GR86. Apple said they were planning on removing the app unless it improved. Our inexperienced team have been able to get cars online consistently and much faster than waiting for an onsite photographer. Please assist. *2020-09-18, version 6.7.1* As of last nights iOS 14 update, the camera connects (Ricoh) but will not save the capture. ### 5/5 — Most tangible benefit from any vendor we use *2018-03-09, version 6.0* Spincar has greatly improved the time to get new inventory online, lowering time to sale. Simple to use so we are less reliant on our photographers' schedule. Nice having one less dependency in the process. On top of that, we are seeing substantial increases in engagement and time on site leading to more conversions. Only reason I'm hesitant to offer praise is I don't want my competition to find out! ### 5/5 — Huge increase in leads *2017-04-30, version 4.7.1* This app has been a huge value for our stores. Before using SpinCar we were getting around 225 leads per month. When we implemented the product we saw leads climb to over 300. We also tried Car 360, a competitor of SpinCar and didn't see any lift in leads and had a bunch of issues causing our photos to not sent to AutoTrader. ### 5/5 — Easy to use! *2016-03-25, version 2.0* I use this app on a daily basis at my store and it works great. We are on of the highest volume Honda dealers on the east coast so speed and efficiency is critical to my workflow. I can shoot 3x as many cars using SpinCar's app than I used to with my DSLR. The 360 interior spin gives our vehicles a factory look and sets us apart from other dealers that's not using this solution. What I would like to see in a future update would be a multi delete functionality.
