The Impimpi app manages and tracks your Impimpi Mk1 IoT Device in 190 countries

FUNCTIONALITY
Inputs:
Power off, Battery low, Power on, Movement, Sensor, Panic

Outputs:
Siren, Strobe light, Push notification to App, SMS and Voice calls to any two predefined numbers

Typical applications:
Home security, vehicles without tracking equipment, solar panels, power monitoring, gate motors, any asset that needs to be monitored, storage rooms

Our IoT device was developed to place your security in your own hands. The Impimpi communicates directly with your smartphone via the Impimpi app informing you about incidents you want to know about. Get notified by SMS, push notifications or voice calls. 

Impimpi Mk1 functions:
1. Movement Sensor – accelerometer (input)
2. GSM Communication (output)
3. GPS
4. Internal battery that serves as backup for the device (not for accessories)

Impimpi Mk1 accessories options:
1. Input 1: Passive sensor or beam
2. Input 2: Panic button (also on app)
3. Output 1: Siren
4. Output 2: Strobe light
5. Power outage and restore sensor
6. Backup battery for accessories with power sensor
7. 8-30 Volt DC Power Input

The Name:
Impimpi is the Zulu word for an informer. An informer can be defined as a person who tells authorities about improper or illegal activity.

The Bird:
The Grey Lourie has a strange behaviour which gives it the nickname of the ‘Go away bird’. This bird is a very vocal bird when alarmed, who emits a long nasal sounding call which sounds like ‘gowaaaay’ while jerking its tail. Because of this ‘give away call’, they are helpful to prey animals who are alerted when a predator or hunters enter their territory.

No, the unit is shipped with a special SIM card allowing it to work in 190 countries. Optional SMS notifications are sent via servers and can be bought using the store link in the ‘My Account’ page
