## What is Imposter Game?

One of you is lying. Work out who. Then put twenty dollars on a team and argue about that too.

Faker is a pile of party games for a group of friends in the same room. Six of them now, and more coming.

FOUR IMPOSTER GAMES

Word Imposter. Everyone knows the word. One of you is guessing.
Question Imposter. Same question for everyone. Almost.
The Grid. Sixteen words on the table. One of you does not know which.
Fake Artist. Everyone draws the same thing. One of you has no idea what it is.

TWO DRAFT BATTLES

Draft Battle. You get a challenge, twenty dollars, and five lists to spend it on. The best of everything costs twenty five, so something has to be cheap.
Draft Auction. Everything goes up for sale, everyone has twenty dollars, and only the winner pays. Two to six people, all bidding in secret.

EVERYONE ON THEIR OWN PHONE

No passing a phone around the table. One person hosts and everyone else joins, over the same Wi-Fi or over Bluetooth when there is no Wi-Fi at all. No accounts, nothing to sign up for, and no internet connection needed.

Or play on a single phone if you would rather. Both work completely.

PACKS

Twenty eight word packs, from Food and Animals to Anime Characters and Memes. Eighty seven draft challenges, from robbing a dragon to winning a race you have no business being in. Or write your own category in a few seconds and play it straight away.

PRO

No adverts anywhere, every pack, every challenge, write your own, and every game including ones added later.

Faker works best with four or more people, a table, and someone who is a very bad liar.

PRO SUBSCRIPTION

Pro is $1.99 per week or $29.99 per year. It renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings at any time.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-09-20

TWO NEW GAMES, AND NEITHER OF THEM HAS AN IMPOSTER IN IT

Draft Battle. You get a challenge, like robbing a dragon, twenty dollars, and five lists to spend it on. The best option in each list costs five, the worst costs one, and twenty five dollars of best is more than you have. With two players you take turns, and whatever your opponent takes is gone.

Draft Auction. The same idea as an auction. One item at a time goes up, everyone bids in secret, the highest bid wins it and only the winner pays. Two to six people, everyone on their own phone, and the table votes on the best team at the end.

Eighty seven challenges to argue over, twenty of them free.

Categories is now Packs, with the word packs and the draft challenges in one place.
