I tried to remove ads (at 50% off) and the button stays in a “Loading” state, but if you click on it, it will ask you to confirm the purchase of removing ads, I even received a purchase successful and and apple receipt in email. But ads were not removed. I exited the game and went back in and in settings I clicked “Restore Purchase”, but I still had ads. Mind you, I was at a very high level and to trouble shoot the problem, I deleted the game (app) and reinstalled the game loosing all my progress. I again clicked on “Restore Purchase” and still had ads. I used the “Contact Us” link twice to ask for assistance but thus far no reply. ### 3/5 — Imposter Merge Game Pass *2021-10-24, version 1.19* When I was getting the remove adds game pass it didn’t work. And the funny part is I had 4 BARS on my wifi. Anyway it’s a good game and I’m only on level 10 or 10 stars. And what I want you to know is it has 215 levels or 215 stars! It’s not the end back to the game pass thing. I was so sad when I got back and pushed the X3 thing for when you get back THERE WAS A ADD! So anyway I have a little more I want to show you. Imposter Merge is a good game but at 4 bars of wifi the game pass dose not work. I got the same ad a few more times and decided to download it. There are barely any ads and I could play this all day. What I don’t like is that since I downloaded the game it’s frozen 6 times. Each time I have to close and reopen the app and each time I am back to the beginning or close to it. Simple. Just what I expected. But I too chose to purchase the “remove ads” option. I saw the purchase complete message. Back in game remove ads is still an option and the ads are not gone. I will try restarting the game as well as the device. I will check my purchase history and Apple receipt in a couple of days. If I was charged and the ads are not removed I will, at that point, contact customer support. Update: I restarted the game and device separately. Neither fixed the issue. However, I did notice something odd. When looking at my purchase history, which shows all downloads as well as in game purchases, it did show that I downloaded the game. However, it did NOT show that I had made any purchases within it. That is updated immediately. So, in theory, it should not show up on my Apple receipt. I think the disconnect is between the game and the purchase but does not actually reach what the user is charged. I’ll check that in a couple of days. But for the sake of helping the developers out with what seems to be a common complaint, that’s what I have for you so far. Second Update: I was in fact charged and the ads have not been removed. ### 1/5 — No Longer Fun *2022-08-30, version 1.19* I hated the ads for everything so I paid to remove ads but it didn’t work. Almost every action outside of basic gameplay requires watching an ad. I also no longer ever get the option to reset the game so I can start over but progress at a faster rate. Being able to prestige is a hallmark of most idle games and this one doesn’t appear to have that feature anymore. There is no longer any point in playing this game. ### 1/5 — Maybe this will actually be read *2022-04-22, version 1.19* First I actually enjoy the game reminds me of another merge game I used to play till it stopped working. The only problem I have with gameplay is I had to watch 10 videos to unlock all the merge spots but on average 3 of them never fill be it bonuses or actual imposters so that would be nice to fix. Now on to the fun stuff the adds. I don’t mind watching adds to get a bonus and I don’t mind paying to remove the adds as long as I don’t have to watch the to receive the bonus what I do have a problem with is pop up adds and paying to only remove them. Since you are collecting your costumers data and using that to make money I feel you should allow players to turn off pop ups without charging them I imagine most people would still watch adds for the bonus I know I do maybe I’m wrong but it would be nice to actually get through a game with out having something interrupting me every 30 sec. Thanks if you read this still enjoy the game just tired of getting robbed so I can play it ### 1/5 — Glitches or bugs *2022-01-27, version 1.19* This game is so broken I can’t even reset my skins to start from skin 1 without closing the app and 3 of my minions aren’t able to be upgraded and the game saving because I need to reset the game from scratch to do that and this game has so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so many glitches fix your game or we all quit just fix it already I don’t want to wait for EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE50 years for you developers to fix the game so fix it right now ### 1/5 — How is this a battle or merge game? *2022-01-17, version 1.19* I don’t understand why they say battle, it’s purely level based, and it’s not really merging you just constantly combine the exact same units, and increasing base unit level. Its 0% strategy and not even enjoyable merging. Its an idle game which doesn’t have an idle button, and a million ads. Also it’s nothing like among us gameplay, just similar art style and misleading name to get clicks. ### 1/5 — Literally steals your money *2021-10-12, version 1.19* I spent $5.99 to remove the ads, which is a lot for a phone game. Literally nothing changed. Now I have to dispute the charge through Apple. I’m not remotely the only person this has happened to. Read the other reviews. Don’t download this game. It’s run by a bunch of thieves and crooks. But anyway.. this is obviously a rip off of the popular game AMONG US and it has so many ads!!! But here’s a tip for the ads: turn off you’re internet while you’re playing so they don’t show up. Sure you can’t get stuff wanting you to watch an ad but who’s cares. I can’t purchase the ad free option. All it does is say “loading...” on the purchase button. Also every time I watch a video to get a reward, it freezes. When I close the app and get back in, none of my progress is saved and I lose whatever I did from the previous time I opened it.
