## What is Imprint?

Rub a photo into a print.

Imprint reinterprets your photos in the language of printmaking. Not another filter stack — it works like a plate maker: reducing the image to lines, halftone dots and flat color, then pressing it onto textured paper with torn edges. The result is an illustration you could actually print.

· Engrave — stipple engraving with fine linework
· Cutout — your subject, cut out and pasted on grid paper
· Gouache — flat limited-color painting
· Woodcut — color woodblock with a carved keyline
· Graphite — pencil-toned sketch

Texture is back where it belongs: paper grain, wood grain, screen-print pressure and aquatint now land on the finished print, so the eleven processes read further apart.
A new Comparison layout places the original and the print at equal width, making the change visible at a glance.
New works start cleaner — just a small index, everything else optional. Leave the title empty and it stays off.
Gouache no longer blows out highlights, and a new work carries over the process you used last.
New app icon and launch screen.
