This was one of the main improvements in the latest update. Please update iMSX2 to version 2.0 from the App Store and give it another try. The interface is clean and user friendly. My one issue is the touchscreen d-pad. Something is off to where you cannot make multiple fast inputs. It registers one click immediately but not the next. Thanks a lot for the feedback and support! ### 4/5 — Few suggestions *2025-11-08* I've been using this emulator for a while now and it does everything that I need to do. I can finally start Metal Gear 2 with the custom BIOS update now! However, there have been a few things that have stood out to me that hinder my experience. When using the function keys, even when I feel the haptic feedback from it (and the click animation plays) it doesn't register sometimes. While playing Metal Gear, it took me about 5-6 clicks to get into the utility menu to switch cards. It gets annoying fast when I'm being pursued by the enemy and I need to heal. If that could be fixed, that would be great... Another thing I noticed is that the consistency of the buttons seem a bit off... When I tap the up button, it works nearly immediately, while when I tap it again, it takes about a half-second to process it again. (Also, the haptic feedback doesn't repeat on that...) Other than those few things, this app is great! This is what pushed me to finish some games I had started. Just remember you’ll need to add a real BIOS to get them running correctly. ### 4/5 — Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is broken *2025-09-06* I have played Metal Gear and Penguin Adventure and they run well with minimal problems, but I have been having a lot of trouble trying to run Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Is there a reason it doesn’t start? **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! I’m currently working on this issue. It seems that Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake uses save data, and the emulator is having trouble reading that part of the memory, which is why it’s not starting properly. In addition to fixing this, I also plan to add support for external BIOS files besides the current C-BIOS. Hopefully this will improve compatibility overall. Thanks again for your support and patience! ### 3/5 — Con mucho campo para mejorar *2025-08-18, version 1.6.5* El funcionamiento con teclados bluethoot es bastante deficiente (por no decir que no se pueden usar). Seria ideal poder ocultar los controles de juego en la interfaz, ya que si usas un teclado externo pueden no ser necesarios y molestan en la pantalla. También sería genial poder entrar en el modo BASIC para poder hacer algún que otro programita simple y poder guardar/recuperar, sobre todo si quieres hacer algo más didáctico con los nanos.
