## What is Imua?

Imua means move forward. And that's what this app is for.

Whether you're in high school, university, or vocational training, I mua helps you understand who you are today, imagine where you want to go, and take practical steps to get there. It's a calm, thoughtful companion for career exploration. It is a place to reflect, connect, and grow.

REFLECT
Explore who you are through guided reflection cards.

• Now. Document your purpose, values, passions, skills, and more
• Future. Define the path ahead
• Save drafts, complete answers at your own pace, and return whenever you're ready

These cards help you explore, document, and communicate who you are, so that you're clearer when it matters most.

SPARK
Meeting someone new can feel awkward. Spark makes it easier.

• Get random conversation cues with initial and follow-on prompts
• Break the ice with structured questions that keep the flow going
• Save contacts and notes from meaningful conversations
• Build confidence connecting with people you don't know yet

Tap + for a new pairing as many times as you like. Introduce yourself, ask the first question, listen, then ask the second. Look for common ground, and follow up if the connection feels right.

GROW
The best opportunities are often closer than you think.

• Reach out to people you already know: mentors, family, teachers, colleagues
• Share up to five career reflection cards to open a real conversation
• Track where each connection stands: prepping, reached out, confirmed, connected
• Capture notes so you remember what mattered

You're not asking for a job. You're building relationships, asking for advice, and discovering who might help you move forward.

BUILT FOR STUDENTS
Imua is designed for young people navigating study, work, and what comes next. Simple, focused, and private. Your reflections and connections stay yours.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-07

Profile is now available from Spark and Grow, not only Reflect. You can edit the name you use in Imua, and it saves to your account.

Spark and Grow lists now include a short prompt and clearer search: “Search past conversations” on Spark, “Search past connections” on Grow. Grow uses the same 7 days / 4 weeks / 1 year filters as Spark.

We’ve updated the name to Imua.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-21
