The app has a great variation of words only you can’t select words and copy to a word pad or similar to learn the phrase you yourself would like, also I would like to see the app start at the beginning go to the end without stopping and then repeat again and again. I wasn't expecting my bandwidth to be used up by adds after paying for the product. How greedy is this company? My advice is to boycott every company that makes you pay a fee AND does NOT remove the adds. If they are adware, fine. I don't have a problem with adware but at least tell the customer the adds will continue before accepting the hard earned upgrade fee! How many adds does it take to equal the upgrade fee? If adds are so profitable why charge an upgrade fee at all? Perhaps it's time Apple started to police this. At least force FULL DISCLOSURE of the advertising and payment policies for the store and the apps. This double dipping had to stop. ### 1/5 — The app is good but company is shady *2016-09-09, version 1.9* I really wanted to learn mandarin and find this app to be helpful. I wanted to buy the rest of the lessons . I notice they had an offer that shows that they will unlock additional 8 lessons. I opted for that. The lessons never got unlocked . I still wanted to get the rest of the lesson , upon trying to buy them, I did not see pricing anywhere . I even try going on iTunes to confirm the prices before buying. I find this company to be quite shady . All the great reviews seem to be base on the promise of free lessons. Be warn that you might end up paying a lot more since the price is not shown before you log onto your iTunes . ### 2/5 — I agree…if you pay no ads *2021-08-28, version 4.7* Stops in the meddle of the session. Learning Chinese is hard enough without interruptions Should be able to go from lesson to lesson without stopping to reset the next lesson.
