Perhaps the app is getting confused between the old and the new files. Would you be able to please restart your device? If it does not work, please unintall, restart then install again. I originally purchased this app for $6-$7. However, the update added ads that were quite intrusive and took me out of the lessons. Incorporating an add control helped me remove unwanted ads and get back into my Japanese lessons.
