My PBF increased from 24.7 to 28.1 with just 0.3kg increase in weight and keeping my workout pattern the same. Please make sure Apple Health Sync is turned on in InBody app > More, and that all InBody permissions are enabled in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health. If the issue persists, please reinstall the app and set up the sync permissions again. Please note that only measurements taken after enabling sync can be transferred to Apple Health. ### 2/5 — Does not respect apple privacy policies *2026-07-17, version 2.9.29* I am forced to use my personal email, even if I try to use Apples sign in, it won't accept the anonymised email address generated by apple, they want your personal one. I even try to login through my Apple account, put my phone number in and it still doesn’t let me hit next ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Anti-consumer approach to report retrieval with no centralized database *2026-08-30* There is absolute no good reason why I cannot simply input my phone number and a password and see ALL my InBody scans from ALL facilities I’ve ever visited since the beginning of time. This lack of cohesiveness is inexcusable. The manual entry mechanism is horrible and you lose so much of the detailed data when entering this way. Why can’t they at least offer an option to scan the paper and OCR from it? Zero logic whatsoever to this business model that gives almost no reconcilable data ownership to the consumer. And I don’t want to hear the argument that this is “by design” because if so, it’s a HORRIBLE design. It’s 2026 and data retrieval is only still this hard when a business cares nothing about its customers. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for your feedback. If you share more details about your case with inbodycs@inbody.com, we will review it and forward your feedback to the relevant team for improvement. ### 1/5 — Body Balance *2026-08-14, version 2.9.32* Bought a InBody H30 scale and the body balance only gives you the “balanced / unbalanced” information but doesn’t give you a direction so you can not tell Is if your Upper or Lower part has more or less mass? The solution given was to find a place that has the commercial level scale… well, If do that I don’t need to buy a $400 scale to have at home. Also, from my understanding the H40 model has the same limitations. Everything else, seems pretty accurate. ### 1/5 — Fat segmental analysis not showing *2026-08-14* Inbody App -> Details -> Segmental Analysis -> Fat The one with human image diagram with each body part fat analysis is always showing as 0.0%. (But soft lean mass page is working fine) Also, I see the same issue in all of my friends mobile app. **Developer response:** Hello, we’re sorry for the inconvenience. I tried to go through Apple and Google sign ins too. I even tried the password reset to check if my number was being used. The app is broken currently so I can’t use my device until it is fixed. I’ve contacted every number/email I could find online. I even used their ai assistant they have on their support page. Really frustrating to have a required app device and the app doesn’t let you register so I can’t use the device until this is fixed.
