### 1/5 — One of the worst apps I have ever used

*2023-04-29, version 7.3.15*

This app is completely inaccurate, it is absolutely worthless for apple users and I keep having an issue weekly despite asking for support. Not a “benefit” at all.

### 2/5 — Just when I thought I had no issues…

*2023-04-10*

I use an iPhone 14 pro as my everyday driver. This app no longer works with it, showing a forever progress indicator after I log in “Searching for our gym bag”. Seems to me like that gym bag is on Neptune because we won’t be able to find it. I logged in on my work phone - iPhone SE2, and had no problems at all loading the main screen. Both phones same OS and networks.

### 1/5 — This app is not good.

*2023-04-08, version 7.3.15*

It works half of the time. Always asks for location. Just spins half the time. Pretty much the worst app I try to use.

### 1/5 — Awful program

*2023-04-07, version 7.3.15*

My company uses this program to incent employees to exercise. I’ve missed 3 workout payment incentives because this program can’t seem to close out the QR scan code properly. Not worth the time or hassle.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever?

*2023-03-25*

We’ve got a contender for worst app available. You’re probably using this app because your employer had you download for a wellness program. Unfortunately this app lacks the execution and support you’d expect from something like this. For some reason they have tried to format this app unlike any other fitness app out there. It’s not intuitive at all. You’ll spend more time searching through the sub menus to find what you’re trying to do. And once you find it NOTHING and I mean NOTHING works the way it is suppose. In order to log a workout you MUST set location services to always, instead of only while using app. Could someone please explain to me why that is?

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2023-03-18, version 7.2.5*

4 out of 5 times I try to use the app to check in, it screen is just blank white with only the version number on it. This is a recent problem. I have been using this app for the last two years with minor problems, but this year it has really been pathetic.

### 1/5 — Still losing it’s gym bag

*2023-03-14, version 7.2.5*

About half the time, app can’t find it’s bag, and hence can’t log credit. How hard can this be to fix??????

### 1/5 — App is not working.

*2023-03-08, version 7.2.5*

I am
Not able to access this app for 2 days now.

### 2/5 — Not loading

*2023-02-16, version 7.2.5*

The app has stopped loading for me at all. The past 5-10 times I’ve tried to use it. It’s completely non functional now

### 1/5 — Frustrating beyond belief

*2023-02-08, version 7.2.5*

Constantly fails to load. If you are lucky, after 20 minutes you might be able to start tracking your gym visit only to have the app fail again when you try to end said visit. Literally the worst app that I’ve used in years. Congratulations

### 1/5 — Awful

*2023-02-07, version 7.2.5*

It works, sometimes…. It takes forever to load and doesn’t pick up on my location. The interface is awkward.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2023-02-07, version 7.2.5*

This app is working for me and many of my coworkers.

### 1/5 — So bad

*2023-02-05, version 7.2.5*

App does not sync automatically. The only metric it tracks is walking. It will not pull any workouts from your Apple Watch. What is the point? Do better. It’s like it’s trying to save employers money by not properly recording metrics.

### 1/5 — Can’t make a working app

*2023-02-02, version 7.2.5*

Why on earth can’t this company make a working app? It’s embarrassing honestly. The only reason I use it is cause I’m stuck with it through my employer. Going to work with them to find a new fitness tracking platform though because IncentFit is garbage.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No good

*2025-04-25, version 7.6.13*

This app has more issues! It won’t accurately keep a record of my time in the yoga studio. Every month I have to upload an attendance record.

### 1/5 — Waste of space on my device

*2025-02-13*

When my company announced a step challenge, I was really excited to try the Incentifit app, but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Let me start with the main issue: the app barely works. Despite being marketed as a reliable way to track your steps, it constantly fails to record data accurately. I’ll walk 10,000 steps in a day, but the app will register only 2,000, if I'm lucky. It doesn’t sync properly with my phone’s health data either, which makes the whole thing feel like a waste of space on my device.

As for customer service, after a long wait for a response, they finally got back to me—only to ask for dozens of screenshots to “investigate” the issue. My app is already synced with my health app, so asking for all these screenshots just felt like a runaround. It was frustrating and completely unnecessary. After providing all the screenshots, the issue was only temporarily resolved, and I’m still stuck with an app that doesn’t fully work.

Overall, the Incentifit app is unreliable, inaccurate, and frustrating. The customer service is unhelpful and adds to the hassle instead of solving the problem. There are plenty of better step tracking apps out there that actually work and provide decent support. This one is definitely not worth your time.

### 1/5 — Terrible in accurate steps count

*2025-01-08, version 7.6.13*

Horrible dysfunctional app

### 1/5 — Sync issues

*2024-11-16, version 7.6.13*

App does not reliably sync with Apple Watch data. I had the same issue with Fitbit several months ago. Have to unsync/resync over and over again for it to work. Today not working at all even after many attempts. Please fix!!!

### 1/5 — Thanks for the update that now crashes constantly!!!

*2024-07-31, version 7.6.13*

I cant get reimbursed for insurance without this app to prove it. Thanks for screwing that up. Too bad I can’t give you one star.

### 1/5 — Terrible app terrible company

*2024-05-29, version 7.6.13*

You have to fight with the app every time to get credit. The company will reject your receipts until after the due date and then claim you turned them in late. Then tell you to go talk to HR to get reimbursed!!

### 1/5 — Worst app in existence

*2024-05-27, version 7.6.13*

doesn’t sync, very user UNfriendly

### 1/5 — Needs A LOT of work

*2024-05-16*

I hate to just pile on to all of the negative reviews but this app just fails me repeatedly. The interface is clunky and resembles an app from the iPhone 1 days. But really, that’s fine if it functions correctly. More importantly, on a recurring basis the app will randomly decide that I’m done working out, while I’m still at the gym. I don’t know when this happens until later, when I actually am done. I open the app to mark my workout as completed and the app says I was done a long time ago and now I get no points for the workout. The Apple Watch integration should be able to see that my workout was 90+ minutes, but no. It seems to only be able to pull steps from the watch. The app developers don’t seem to place a high priority on resolving functionality issues pointed out in these reviews, so writing this review may be a waste of time. If my company didn’t require the use of the app for gym membership compensation I would never open the app again. So many better options available.

### 1/5 — Might be one of the worst apps ever

*2024-01-06, version 7.5.19*

Most likely you’re using this because it’s work benefit related. They need to make it easier to track your progress. Also once you track your progress it’ll go under review and a still get rejected.

### 1/5 — Apple Health needs Google Fit

*2023-11-02, version 7.3.15*

Lots of issues with this app and the sync . They support Apple Health but when participating in a Challenge they state Apple Health users need to use Google Fit . However Google Fit is not listed as an App you can sync with.
Very frustrating directions
MapMyWalk sync directions are also outdated and incorrect.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — New Years Resolution Achieved!

*2018-02-02*

Ok I was one of those people who made the New Years resolution to go to the gym and went twice in January and that’s it. With IncentFit I now actually get in there at least once a week every week. That little bit of cash makes all of the difference to get me active and healthy, and also it really adds up! 🏃‍♂️💪💰

### 5/5 — If it can motivate me, it works for anyone!

*2018-01-27, version 3.6.0*

I have a really hard time getting motivated to work out. I literally need a direct incentive. Apparently I'm not alone. Thanks for the help. Here's to a healthy year!

### 5/5 — I love getting paid to exercise

*2015-11-07, version 1.9.5*

Really a great idea

### 4/5 — Simple

*2023-01-31, version 7.2.5*

This app is simple to use and set up for the most part. The amount of metrics it gathers is a bit unnerving though - you either have to opt in to ALL metrics, or you can’t participate.

Update: Updated rating since they’ve added support for the iPhone 14 Pro.

### 3/5 — A revolutionary option with a lot to improve

*2020-11-11, version 5.0.0*

Been using this app through work for quite some time now. I love the idea and the concept behind rewarding for actual activities you do on a daily basis. The recent update changes made information harder to find and in divided places. More buggy as well. Tu app would need a little rework to simplify access to the information that’s important = your gains in a quick overview. Bring this back and this app deserve a 5 star.

### 2/5 — Clunky and bad

*2025-02-07, version 7.6.13*

I’d rather use the web. There are whole parts of the UI that can’t be seen unless you pull down, but then you can’t tap anything. This app needs to be destroyed.

### 2/5 — Ugh, Syncing Issues

*2024-09-14, version 7.6.13*

It hasn’t been syncing with Garmin since 9/7. Had unlinked it then it re-linked which worked before, and after several attempts, that still isn’t working. Saw today their alert about Fitbit sync issues. Hope they work on the Garmin one too.

### 2/5 — Issue

*2024-07-30, version 7.6.13*

App not loading at all. When you open the app it just loads to a blank white screen.

### 2/5 — Very Slow to Sync Activies

*2024-01-07*

This app allows you to connect your Apple Watch and the Apple Fitness as well as Strava to track your activities. This is super slow to happen and is often days before they show up in your timeline and sometimes don’t ever show up. This is a feature the promotes so they should make it work better.

### 2/5 — Unclear regarding Appointment forms

*2023-04-17, version 7.3.15*

I did a physical and tried to upload a form to IncentFit because I could not see one they provided. They did not make it clear enough that I need to submit a specific form neither did they provide that form until I called them to ask for it.
