Now years later I thought I would give it a shot and now I git 0 jobs in a 50 mike radius of Phoenix Arizona a city with over 100,000 jobs and I can't get 1 not off indeed and not off this flex app years of using y'all and I have not got 1 damn job I got a few interviews and hundreds of applications in and zip. What a massive disappointment. Despite having solid experience in the hospitality sector, the platform has continuously offered me completely unsuitable positions—cleaners, basic manual labour, and similar roles that bear no relation to my skillset. It’s as though the algorithm doesn’t actually read your profile or qualifications. The worst part? The lack of real opportunities. In three months of regular checking and applying, I’ve received absolutely nothing that aligns with my experience. The job matching system is clearly broken. If you’re a skilled hospitality professional looking for roles that actually use your expertise, don’t waste your time here. The platform seems designed to funnel experienced workers into low-skill positions rather than helping them find suitable employment. It’s frustrating, demoralising, and frankly disrespectful to your professional background. Save yourself the headache and try literally any other recruitment platform. There are dozens of better alternatives that actually respect your experience. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Indeed flex *2026-08-21, version 2.190.0* The app is a waste of time I did everything and some for this app just for it to not bring up any jobs I even put my search area all the way to the max so I can get a job. it’s been a month and I still haven’t received any jobs this app is bs ### 1/5 — My honest review. *2026-08-19* Indeed Flex is super convenient and from time to time can be super helpful when people need extra money and have free time to pick up shifts. The main issue that I came across with indeed Flex specifically is the companies that they contract with . Be careful going into these companies thinking that they’re going to be fair because they’re not… indeed flex doesn’t have much power over whether or not if you work for the company . They can still choose to ban you from there location for something as small as not wanting you to come in anymore. if you get a rating under 3 stars they you will most likely be banned. If you get 3 stars or lower you pretty much lose the right to appeal or defend yourself ! So avoid that by all means. Don’t get into any misunderstandings with anyone because if it’s taken the wrong way it could cost you your money bc they will ban you. I’m deleting my account in exhausted of flex and the trash companies that are contracting through them . These 8 months were fun while they lasted ✌🏽 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-08-18, version 2.190.0* I did all the onboarding and it doesn’t let me claim any shifts ### 1/5 — Discriminatory Hiring/Scheduling Practices *2026-07-30, version 2.187.0* It isn’t, “flexible work”. It’s retaliatory towards workers and labor unions. I could say the same about any work opportunity that’s an app with access to your phone. Companies already charge less or more to consumers through surveillance pricing. This is the same thing, but with work. You are an independent contractor, and never actually employed by flex or the companies offering you gigs. ### 1/5 — Useless now *2026-07-22* When i first downloaded the app I would always get gigs for kitchen/concession stand jobs but now im not getting any job offers at all, even though im approved for 2 different companies. (1 restaurant position and 1 admin assistant position). I live in a Major Metroplex so indeed flex having "no jobs" is outlandish. Not to mention I received 2 ban warnings for being a no show. Even when I told supervisors at the company that clocking in/out wasnt working properly. I would also receive no show/ ban warnings for jobs i NEVER accepted or applied for. Lastly you have to download Branch for same day pay but it NEVER worked for me, I would work shifts during the middle of the pay period and still could not use same day pay. I had to wait until it deposited in my personal bank account. Now i have a random checking account in my name that i cant even use. ### 1/5 — Be warned *2026-07-21, version 2.185.0* Be warned…. This app is not what they say it is. You will be shortened on your hours and pay. The support team will give you the same answers that lexi ai would. They try to hurry and cut the conversation short. Some places don’t have a clock so you have to rely on that person reporting that you showed up on time and worked the entire shift. I’m in Jersey so there are only three warehouses available. Logan is the best one only because they pay more. Hamilton is always understaffed. There are better apps to work off of imo. This one is a last resort. ### 1/5 — Hopeless app with a frustrating onboarding process *2026-07-10* I completed the hospitality onboarding on both my PC and mobile 3–4 times, yet the app kept asking me to do it again as if it had never been completed. I joined hoping to start booking shifts and earn money, but instead I wasted around 8 hours trying to complete the same onboarding repeatedly. On top of that, the mandatory 2-hour minimum time requirement for the training makes the experience even more frustrating when the system doesn’t save your progress properly. This issue needs to be fixed. Been asking support for help for an entire month and they’ve done nothing to help me. ### 1/5 — Have not received my pay *2026-06-13, version 2.180.0* Like many people working temp job apps, I am broke. I have not received a paycheck, and there are no good avenues for support/no real customer service lines to resolve the issue. Says that it “might take up to 5 days” to receive my pay. Ridiculous. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — FT/PT/Daytime Nightime *2026-08-11* Whatever “it” may be, I always go get “it”, and Flex provides a platform that is transparent and shows my work ethic and true value in what a company sees in its personnel. “It”, is the opportunity, the confidence in showing up, and the ability to make a way when there’s no other way at that time. Competitive pay, trustworthy management, and these other day labor places that have been around with skin in the game, they wanted to create something like indeed flex.
