Viewing the online edition of the Anderson Independent Mail is an exercise in frustration. Considering a user must be a PAID subscriber, the company needs to invest in debugging this app. It repeatedly crashes as you try to view the pages. For a Gannett owned newspaper, I would expect a much higher level of performance.

At one time this was a good app but in the last 6-8 months it has become almost unusable. It routinely shuts down 3-4 times in the short period it takes me to try to read the paper. Also, most of the time after the first 2-3 pages when going from one page to the next the “printed” words disappear leaving only the images. I can usually get through the paper but not without a lot of aggravation and frustration. I have deleted and reinstalled the app many times over the months and have complained to my paper about it but nothing has changed.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP! I would give it a zero if that was an option.

It is desirable to have local news daily , almost needed.
Had to consider the very high cost before enrolling.

The new app comes up and tells you it will flicker and then takes you to the paper. This began a few months ago, I wish this wasn’t occurring. 
 I enjoy reading the Anderson Independent daily.
