## What is Indes?

It's Tuesday evening, and I'm staring at the same chat thread for the twelfth time. "When works for you?" – "Honestly, anytime." – "Then you pick." Anna and I have been trying to grab lunch together for three weeks now. Three weeks. For a sandwich.

Every time, the same thing: I suggest something, she's already booked. She suggests something, I'm in a meeting. My calendar is a minefield, and I come running into it every single time. Eventually I've had enough. I open Indes, create a search, "Lunch with Anna," and set what matters: two weeks, Mon to Fri, 90 minutes, an hour's buffer around everything else, eleven to two. Then I hit Search.

A clean list. Five suggestions, each on a different day. The all-day company outing on Friday? Filtered out. The gap that's really swallowed by a meeting running long? Never even shows up. One tap, and five tentative blockers land in my calendar, politely marked. I share the list with Anna in a single tap – nicely formatted, none of that slapdash "Tue or Thu?".

She replies after four minutes. "Thursday, 12 – perfect!"

I swipe across Thursday, finalize it, and watch the other four blockers delete themselves. One entry remains: "Lunch with Anna," Thursday, 12.

Three weeks of back and forth. Done in ten minutes.
