* Write a Novel: Index cards are great for creating story boards and keeping track of scene changes. They can easily be rearranged and moved around if needed. 

* Keep an Appointment: Arrange index cards by date to keep track of appointments. They can be carried in a wallet or purse to serve as a reminder of upcoming appointments every time they are looked at. 

* Ace your Presentation: Write bullet points on index cards to use as you deliver a speech or presentation.
