It is deeply distressing to see it going down the hill for some unknown reason. That is evident from the way it constantly trumpets itself as “the first to get that info and this info and as the best”. No real achiever tom toms like that. The fact that they are trumpeting about themselves that fiercely suggests that all is not well in there. Instead of some nice journalism, personalities have taken centre stage who constantly loudmouth and try to impose themselves on the reader/viewer. Its digital version is one of the worst available on the iOS. It’s woefully outdated and no effort seems to be in the pipeline to improve it. Profile details are identical to this App and yet, if I wanted to access and read the latest edition of the magazine, it keeps asking me to subscribe. What is this nonsense? Is this some form of cheating? Even the dedicated India Today magazine app is not letting me access the subscribed content. So you start on a wrong footing. Further there is nothing in the news that is objective. Definitely not my morning app for news bites. While the content in itself is very rich but the navigation part needs improvement and be made viewer friendly.
