## What is Indian Rummy?

Indian Rummy has been one of the favourite traditional games of Indian families. On special occasions and festivals, family members and friends gather together to enjoy a game of rummy cards.

The objective of the popular game Indian Rummy is to match cards of the same rank or sequence and same suit. In Indian Rummy you have to create melds which consists of sets of three or four of a kind of the same rank, runs, or three or more cards in sequence of the same suit.

The game of Indian rummy is a game that requires mental agility to play as the player has to arrange all the 13 cards into a particular sequence so that he can win the round of game. It requires lot of practice, guessing the cards of player on the other side, reading hands, and to keep in mind in Indian Rummy is that all the cards that have been either thrown or picked from the pile of cards. 

In short, the Indian rummy is game that improves your memory power, changes your mood, and relaxes your mind from giving you a required break from the hectic daily schedule.

To win a hand at Indian Rummy one must require a minimum of two sequences, one of which must be "pure", that is, made without any jokers. The other sequence may contain jokers. 
The other melds can be sets (three or four of a kind).

Indian Rummy, which varies little from the standard Rummy game, is also called as Paplu in some parts of India.

Love it when games update and be better … but would really appreciate if your team have done some user experience testing before the update …. You have completely ruined the gaming experience … this new update has made the game unplayable …. Sorry to say … deleting the game rite now …. Giving 1 star becoz no star was not an option

This is a great app if you don't mind the constant advertisements that pop up just as you're ready to play. The ads are really annoying. I wish that there were rules and instructions attached to the game because there are various versions of Indian Rummy. There have been invalid "shows" that I could not understand. However I enjoy the game very much in between ads.   I do believe it is the best Indian rummy available
