Pretty clunky with minimal playback features (no fast forward or reverse). Slow downloads compared to other services. I bit difficult to see previously paled items and no watch history option. ### 3/5 — navigation + casting controls. *2018-10-02, version 4.301* I mean, nothing’s changed materially since my last review - the app casts poorly, and even watching off a mobile screen the navigation seems designed to discourage binge watching where applicable, but I do appreciate access to the content? —- Old review: Navigation still clunky; occasionally hit dead ends requiring me to start over from home screen. For tv series a watch next episode option would be appreciated. Can’t control TV volume via app transmitting to Chome Cast. ### 2/5 — Can't log in on ipad! *2017-04-27* Interesting selection, and I like that you can search for films by language. However, after I watched one short film, the app logged me out and I can't log back in! Really? *2017-08-04* Watched a random video but had no sound. Just in case it was an artistic feature I watched another. No sound yet again. Made sure the phone sound was maxed. No settings to configure. Quick check and I get sound in the Netflix app. Got on to this through a T-Mobile promo, so I'm surprised the developer missed this. ### 1/5 — App doesn't work *2017-08-03* There's no settings option and the volume doesn't work. Just a bunch of mini Films ### 1/5 — Currently a very bad app *2016-10-07* Since it says it's compatible with iPhone and iPad from iOS 6 up, I downloaded the app to my iPhone 4 with iOS 6. I can never open the app since it crashes before anything else. Should never have advertised it like that. It gave a false sense of hope for your customers. I have a library subscription to use IndieFlix. And since I cannot play anything from the Web version I had to download the app to my iPad. I found no way to sign in to my account as a library customer. Simple to install and get up running. Very easy to find and pick a movie based on it’s genre, movie length (I prefer shorts under 10 minutes, but there are several time options, right up to full feature), and intended audience. If you’re not familiar with Indieflix, it’s a subscription site that's basically for folks who prefer viewing quality independent films of all types vs. watching silly pet tricks on YouTube or the megastudio offerings on Netflix.
