Also I keep adding books to my saved for later and they only add some and then when I keep trying to add the rest it deletes the others that are there off. Anyways…point is I’m writing this review so people can get on fixing these errors. I’m also scared to try to use my birthday discount soon when the app isn’t acting properly. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for your feedback. Logging in never works, it doesn't accept Apple Pay, and I can't use saved credit cards? When I am comparing prices for lowest cost (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) I don’t checkout. Finding books is quick and seamless, and the overall experience is smooth. One improvement I’d recommend is adding support for Apple Wallet—currently, the Plum ID can’t be added, which would be very convenient for in-store use. Adding Apple Wallet integration would make an already great app even better. ### 2/5 — Too small on screen *2026-01-01, version 3.3.4* The app does not use the entire iPad screen, instead it’s about iPhone sized. Once I finally add books to a list, why can’t I have a page that shows me which of those books are in stock at a store, rather than having to check each book individually. ### 1/5 — Glitchy and riddled with errors *2025-12-27, version 3.3.4* Glitches with the sign-in, error codes when adding books to your favourite lists or adding a product that is ship to store only. A true nightmare. When you try to shop online the problematic app will open instead. Everytime I look at my cart it’s empty, or contains half of the books I’ve added to it. Not sure what the ongoing issue is. I’ve downloaded, removed from device, re added. Will stay away from downloading the app in hopes the website won’t be so problematic. I want to support this Canadian company but if ordering online, Amazon is far less problematic. ### 1/5 — Misleading inventory data *2025-12-23, version 3.3.4* Apparently no bookstore I visited in person carried the book I wanted so I decided to order online via the app so I could see if they carried inventory first. Well the app said they had 3 in stock at one location so I made a purchase and received an order confirmation only to receive an email 90 mins later saying the order was cancelled because they either didn’t have it in stock or the book condition was too poor. So I did the same thing with another location which said they had 3 in stock. Purchase made, order confirmation received. However 7.5 hrs later I received another email saying my order was cancelled for aforementioned reasons. I find it hard to believe that these books would be in stock this whole time only for them to all be sold out in two different locations coincidentally right when I’m ordering them. At least update your system to refresh the inventory more often so that accurate info can be reflected in the app or on the website in real time. ### 1/5 — God I hate this app *2025-12-19, version 3.3.4* This app is the worst app that I have ever used to buy from a brand. It logs me out after I leave the app EVERY SINGLE TIME. It loves to just not work when logging in and say “oops sorry something went wrong!” and make me sign in 500 times just to use the stupid app. All my info is right, it’s an issue on the app’s end. It is so awful it makes me not even want to buy the books I originally went on the app for. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — You wrecked a perfectly good app *2026-05-12* Can’t find what I need now. I looked up a book and there are 8 different possibilities, all for the same book. But I can’t see what makes each one different. So I have to click on the one, and when I go back there search is gone and I have to start over. I won’t be using this app. ### 1/5 — List Option *2026-04-29, version 3.3.4* Will not work for me!! Very frustrating ### 1/5 — No full page view *2026-04-19, version 3.3.4* You search for items and you can’t even see the full results on a vertical. The results are shown for the sake of showing. And if i try to sign up it says the account already exists so thats not the problem. I just want to be able to access my plum card through the app and log into my account!!! ### 1/5 — Garbage app *2026-04-01, version 3.3.4* This is a really great app if you enjoy slow loading times and ALWAYS having to sign in, all the time, every minute or two. If you like being super frustrated and being unable to access any of your saved lists then this is a really great app for that. Also, terrible ordering process because again, kept having to sign in again and again and again. ### 1/5 — app prevents you from buying their stuff *2026-03-10, version 3.3.4* I only found out that they have and app at the store but their “app” really doesn’t want you to purchase their stuff online. I was trying to pay for the selected products but their “captcha” kept preventing me from proceeding g to pay. who even uses that anymore?! clearly if I’m already signed into the app on my phone I’m human! what other proof do they need? this sure is a good way to prevent your customers from buying more stuff online. the only function it’s good for is to check inventory, you just have to physically go there and hope the stuff you want still in stock since you cannot pay for it on the app. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-02-26, version 3.3.4* I only just learned that indigo has an app. Well it’s been a few days and it doesn’t work at all. Can’t log in, says there’s an issue. The two times the log in seemed to work it freezers after a few seconds and kicks me off and asks me to log in again and then again says there’s an issue if I try. ### 1/5 — 2/10 *2026-02-24, version 3.3.4* It’s disappointing. The app’s not working properly, not showing some of the items that I was interested in buying. 🤷🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Impossible to buy *2026-02-23, version 3.3.4* After asking for my credit card, it wouldn’t let me buy as I was failing to see the tiny Captcha pictures. It finally asked me to try again later. I gave up and bought the book off Amazon. Remove the Captcha to buy, this is outdated and cannot be completed by real humans. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Review *2024-07-12, version 3.2.1* In all it’s a great app, I normally go to the actual indigo store(s) but I also have a week immune system and get sick a lot, when I get sick this app is very useful.
