I found them on TikTok and tried supporting them because they are a small business, but the truth is that the development time is too long, it’s 7-9 BUSINESS days and sometimes even longer. I do like how the app organizes the film but many other companies do that too. The app is also very weird, it will log you out randomly. I would go to a Walmart or CVS. I am waiting for this last role of film to be returned but after this I’m taking my film to my local camera shop. ### 2/5 — Do not use them *2024-06-27, version 2.3.0* The timing is ridiculously slow, they do not communicate well and they continue to extend timelines. Better off going to Walgreens. ### 3/5 — App doesn’t work and takes too long to receive photos back *2023-12-22, version 2.3.0* The app almost never works. I always have to log in on line and download my pictures rather than use the app. Which defeats the whole purpose of this platform. They also give us a time frame when photos should be ready however it almost never gets done on time. I feel like it’s a bit pricey to be waiting so long to receive our order back. I think they should update their expected turnaround time or make sure to get it done within the expected timeframe. ### 2/5 — Lost a Long time customer:( *2023-11-29, version 2.3.0* I have developed 11 cameras with them in the past and will no longer be using them. Within the last year the customer service and timing has gone extremely down hill. I had several issues with film taking over a month to get back and no responses from support. My last film took forever to get a response from customer service. I got a response back saying that they had it and would see why it was taking long. Over a month after that message and several attempts to contact support they told me that the film was lost. They refunded me and gave me a $25 gift card which I appreciated but after I asked why they told me they had it - I got zero response again. I had commented on their instagram to try and get a response and have had several people reach out saying they’re having the same problem- sadly I’m not the one:( I loved the company originally so the two stars is for the past and them at least refunding me! ### 4/5 — Potential *2023-09-11, version 2.3.0* I discovered this app and company on TikTok, and I really think there is some awesome potential here. My main issue with it is that both times I’ve developed photos they have had issues and not been uploaded on the app (so I’ve had to email). Not giving up on this brand, but probably will not get my photos developed here soon- but I’ll be checking in to see improvements. Great ideas, but change is needed. ### 3/5 — Good enough but increasingly slow *2023-07-12, version 2.3.0* I've been using Indisposable for years and have been singing its praises for a very long time. However, since 2020, they have made essentially zero updates to make the app more user friendly or advanced, and the turn around time has gotten longer and longer (and prices increased). Getting in touch with support is difficult, and the 3-4 day development time is simply not true. The photos turn out well enough, but there are other better options at this point. Still waiting on development of film, and this will probably be my last time using them. ### 1/5 — 🚨🚨DO NOT USE 🚨🚨 *2023-03-17, version 2.3.0* After waiting 3 weeks without receiving my film after shipping it to them, I reached out and asked why it was delayed. They insist that they never received my film even though USPS shows and confirmed it was delivered. The film I sent the be developed had many pictures of my engagement and travels abroad with my fiancé, pictures that I will never be able to get back. I am heart broken and distraught, and there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it. Pictures are gone forever. Don’t waste your money just to lose your film. ### 1/5 — They Will Not Return My Film *2023-01-24, version 2.3.0* I have waited 4 months to give this review in hopes they would resolve the current issue before I had to give a review. I saw this company on TikTok and thought I’d give them a shot. I paid extra to have my film delivered back to me and I still have yet to receive them. Its been 4 months. Each month, I’d reach out to the company asking for an update and they would emailed me back that they’d had some technical issues or delays, ect. and that I’d receive a tracking number in the next couple of days…..😑 still never have. I’ve been patient and understanding, but now they have ignored my last email. It’s been 16 weeks and they still have my films. They have not offered a refund or anything. I’m now down the money I spent to have my film’s returned to me and down two camera rolls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would not recommend them. Really bummed because I thought this was a cool concept. I had originally recommended them to my film friends, but after this experience I have told them to avoid this company. Glad they never did. ### 3/5 — Great company at first, now has issues *2022-11-23, version 2.3.0* The app itself is okay. The tagging in reels feature I never use because I don’t have friends who use the app. I solely use it to get my scanned photos and download them to my phone. It definitely isn’t the most advanced app, but it works as needed. I had great experience with Indisposable my first several times using them. The scans always came out great and I liked how I could get my film developed no matter where I was. However, more recently I’ve been avoiding using them because of issues. Twice they have had problems with getting shipped film and my film ends up getting lost. Most recently, I sent in a fully completed reel of film only to hear back over a week later that the reel had no photos on it. Their customer service is also questionable as they only ever reply around 11 PM/midnight. I would like to keep using this company but I’m uncertain as these issues are making me less inclined to ship in my film. ### 2/5 — Ok app, not a great deal. Wouldn’t use for serious photography. *2022-11-08, version 2.3.0* The app itself is serviceable and works, but the scans come back in fairly low quality comparative to competition. Not to mention the company charges a bit more than every other lab. Although not definitive of the company I want to say I sent them two rolls and it took 2 1/2 months for one roll of negatives to come back and I still have yet to receive my second roll of negatives (coming up on 4 months later now). IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR NEGATIVES DO NOT USE THIS APP!! This is a great app for a hobbyist who wants to develop a single, maybe 2 rolls of film, and have the convenience of the app, but if you are actually serious about your photography I have to say I do not recommend. ### 4/5 — Pretty cool *2021-10-20, version 2.3.0* App is great & useful but have had to wait 2+ weeks Everytime for my film even though it says 3-5 days ### 1/5 — very frustrating to set up account *2021-06-22, version 2.3.0* i heard about this on tik tok and was super excited to get my film developed, i was super annoyed when i tried to set up an account and it told me that my email didn't have a valid lab, which didn't make sense because i made sure it was correct, and then it told me my number had already been used to make an account but i've never used this app before. bummer that it didn't work and was hoping to use it this summer ### 1/5 — no camera option? *2021-06-10, version 2.3.0* i can’t seem to use the app at all. the “my reels” tab is completely blank, and still is after multiple times of deleting it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Hugely Disappointed *2026-07-20, version 2.3.0* I sent in two cameras last summer and when they were developed and sent to the app, I only found one set of my photos along with another that did not belong to me. I emailed them and told them they had put someone else’s photos in my gallery and they removed them but then asked me if I remember what was on my film. I told them no because I’ve just been sending in a few full disposable cameras at a time and I never heard back from them. Every few months I would follow up with an email that would get no response. Last week, almost a year later, I sent another email and have not heard back. Horrible customer service, at least have the decency to say you lost the film, not just ignore your customers. ### 1/5 — do not use!!! *2026-04-18, version 2.3.0* I have been a long time customer and developed many many rules through this app for four years now this most recent one I sent them my pictures from prom and my senior trip they claimed to have got my film and I got the email but a couple weeks later I still haven't received anything I reached out to support and they said that they were working on it and it hadn't been developed yet two months later I still haven't gotten the pictures and I reached out again. They did not answer so I emailed them again. They said that they didn't know where the film was, and they would escalate it another three months later still nothing and I haven't heard from them. I emailed them no answer. I DM them on Instagram and when they finally answered, they say that they lost it and they don't know how to find it. They offered me a $50 credit, but I will not be ordering from them again. The customer service is terrible and they seem to have no care that they lost valuable pictures to me. I trusted them with these because I've been using them for so long and I've never had any issue very sad and they will be losing a customer if I can rate them zero stars I would ### 1/5 — this app has sadly gone downhill :( *2024-09-18, version 2.3.0* i never thought i'd have to write this review seeing as i've never had any problems in the past when i mail in my film to be developed. I have sent in three disposable cameras to indisposable over the past three years and i always got an email when the pictures were ready and uploaded,and it was usually within 5 days after they received my film. It has now been 12 days since they have received my film. I have contacted their customer service multiple times and have gotten no response. The time frames promoted are not accurate and the system has crashed continuously on me. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. It took them a week to respond to my support email and now they’ve gone dark again. They promised 5-6 business days and it’s been 11. I will never use them again. I just want my photos. ### 1/5 — Looked Promising However Waste of $$ *2023-09-15, version 2.3.0* I sent my film in 3 weeks ago and never received my shipping label after paying. I then emailed and they sent my label. I shipped it off and then after 8 days reached out because USPS stated that the film was delivered yet they never told me it was received. They let me know it was received and after another week and a half I’ve emailed for an update. No update. This film was so important to me because it was my first time using a disposable camera. It had all my travels from this summer and now I fear that I’ll never be able to get those memories back. The entire goal of this company is to be convenient however, they don’t respond and cost way to much just to not receive film. I work 2 jobs so this is not easy for me to deal with. Find a local shop that’s more reliable and use them. The app itself has “had a bug” for months and doesn’t work. AVOID THIS COMPANY 🚨🚨‼️‼️ ### 1/5 — Terrible customer service. BEWARE *2023-09-05, version 2.3.0* Do not use them. I spent over $50 for no one to answer my emails; as I presume indisposable LOST MY FILM. The reels sections of the app does not update and it has been 2 weeks since they received my film. I recommend you use the darkroom instead as I have had success sending my cameras to that company.
