### 5/5 — wow

*2026-04-02*

I have prompted for coding help! don’t see any difference between chatgpt and sarvam

### 5/5 — Glad to have you here

*2026-03-22*

Good app. I did not see any bugs. Searches internet to return results that ask for. I barely do Google search now.

### 5/5 — Smooth app

*2026-03-17, version 0.2.0*

Proud of your work. A lot can be improved as sometimes it has noticeable errors but sometimes it passes all the expectation. Keep it up, cheering for you.

### 5/5 — Feature Request

*2026-03-15*

Can you add a feature where a india curated version of news is shown similar to perplexity? Perhaps better with ability to ask questions on the news articles.

### 5/5 — Barebones but functional app

*2026-03-09*

Glad India is catching up in the AI race, but there are lightyears to cover. This app is pretty good, but I look forward to image and document upload and multimodality built right into the model and the app soon.

### 5/5 — Excellent speech transcription in all languages

*2026-03-07*

I have not seen another app that does this quality of speech transcription. I’m a native Kannada speaker from Bangalore and it transcribes everything i speak very accurately and returns back quality responses. Highly recommend this app.

### 5/5 — BEST AI APP

*2026-03-05*

The app is helping us grow our business with highly engaging captions for our business Socials. We highly recommend this app if you are looking to grow your business presence, sales on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp. This Ai app fully understands instructions (prompts) and provides best solutions for our jewellery business.

### 5/5 — Few feedback

*2026-03-03*

It’s amazing, seems light by the way.
1. Like to get feature where user can copy and use the response in other apps.
2. Would like to get delete option for my historical chat, important for privacy control and all chatbot provide this as standard.

Hope developer is listening…😊

### 5/5 — Very interesting and good potential

*2026-03-02*

I’ve seen many reels and shorts talking about how this AI has beaten others in AI tests and decided to try it out and honestly it’s not bad. It’s thinking is more clear than other models, like for examples when I use ChatGPT it thinks about a certain thing and then jumps around a lot but I noticed this AI doesn’t do that too much. I am an Indian but I live in this US so it’s India-centered focus is not too relevant for me but it can still answer all questions that other models can. Some feedback:

1. Give me a delete chat button: I have so many random chats and would love to delete chats I am done with.

2. Allow organization of chats: Allow me to move around chats so I can organize certain chats into certain categories.

3. Options to switch between modes: Sometimes I may want a quick answer and I don’t need the AI to research a bunch of websites for that so there should be things like a fast mode, thinking mode, maybe a research mode where it creates a notebook.

4. A council of AI: I’ve noticed sometimes the AI CAN get small things wrong so maybe a mode when the answer is sent to multiple models and all of them discuss the answers of each other as a council and send the best answer to the user similar to what some other ai models are doing like Grok and Deepseek.

5. A more diverse search profile: When I ask the AI a question it mainly only searches Indian website which is not certainly a bad thing but it unnecessarily narrows the scope of the answer where otherwise I could’ve have had an answer which could have been obtained from websites all over the world(I do understand that this is an India-centric model however Indians should also get the BEST answer possible not the most Indian answer possible).

I do have more feedback but they are all small and are not worth the time as I am sure this AI will get way better in the future. Overall not bad, I will continue using the AI on a daily basis and see what else I can learn about it!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-02-26*

Awesome. Good interface with quick responses

### 5/5 — Excellent. Brilliant

*2026-02-26, version 1.3*

Great AI. It’s excellent same or more comprehensive to ChatGPT, Grok Claude

### 5/5 — Underrated App

*2026-02-26, version 1.3*

Fast and accurate as expected

### 5/5 — It is worth installing.

*2026-02-25*

Crisp, clear answers that don’t sound like typical AI tools. I’m looking forward to exploring this platform further. I’m looking forward to exploring their image generation feature.

### 5/5 — Some Improvements

*2026-02-24*

Please add the option to edit the prompt typed by us, because if there is a mistake or some correction of vocabulary that needs to be done than it becomes difficult to do so

Also add the option to delete a particular chat and also collective chat history

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Was eager to use but app is pathetic.

*2026-02-21*

The UI (user interface) is good, and the login works smoothly.

If this app is still in the beta version, then I am okay with it. But if they have launched it for public or commercial use, believe me, it is a very pathetic app. I think if we had given some money to 10–12 IIT students, they could have built a much better application with better real models.

First of all, this app feels purely diplomatic. You cannot criticize or ask any questions related to the Prime Minister, the government, or similar topics.

Second, I asked multiple simple questions related to Excel, and it was unable to answer them properly.

Third, it cannot listen to audio longer than 30 seconds.

Fourth, there are so many errors in almost every conversation.

Fifth, whenever I ask something critical about the current government, either the recording stops or it gives a very plain, diplomatic answer.

### 3/5 — Unable to sign up

*2026-06-16*

Unable to sign-in into the app using email address other than google, apple and microsoft.

### 3/5 — Typing is not possible

*2026-05-27, version 0.2.7*

Basic app functionality is not there. In iOs, when keyboard brings up it hides the chat window.

### 3/5 — Can’t see my responses

*2026-03-04*

Good app, great UX. But after a while my responses stopped rendering in the chat UI. This is jarring, please fix it

### 3/5 — App very slow while answering

*2026-02-21*

Sarvam AI has strong potential and the interface is clean, but the response time is significantly slower compared to other AI applications in the market. The latency while generating answers disrupts the overall user experience and makes real-time usage difficult.

If the team can optimize performance and improve response speed, this app could become highly competitive. Looking forward to future updates addressing this issue.

### 4/5 — Constrictive feedback

*2026-08-15*

Sarvam Indus has a great UI and some very powerful features like Skills, Agents, Connectors, and Knowledge Base. However, I feel these advanced features should be moved into Settings or an Advanced section instead of being prominently placed in the main sidebar.

For a normal consumer, the main experience should be simple: open the app, ask something, and get an answer. Users who need advanced features can easily access them when required.

Also, these advanced features need more polish and better onboarding. Right now, I don’t really understand how to properly use things like the Knowledge Base or Skills feature, so a bit more guidance or simplification would really help.

I also found the web app could use some UI/UX improvements and corrections.

Overall, great potential and a strong product. I’d just recommend making the default experience simpler, more intuitive, and more consumer-focused, especially for the Indian market.

### 4/5 — Neat AI.

*2026-04-02*

Its logic can be weak at times, but is great regardless.

### 4/5 — Application Feedback

*2026-02-26*

Excited about Sarvam AI, but a few issues affect the experience:

- Splash screen is slow and not fluid; prefer instant access to chat (caching could help).
- No option to delete previous chats, which is a basic feature.
- Noticeable frame drops when opening menus or switching settings.
- No stop button to halt a running prompt.
- No clear option to opt out of chats being used for training; privacy policy link isn’t enough.

Fixing these would make the app experience much smoother!

### 4/5 — Very good llm from india

*2026-02-23*

I think it is very good start for sarvam ai. I hope the model will get matured and will do continous improvements. Itvis very good in reasoning and analysis. Geopolitics , politics, technology all areas it is responding very nice. Few areas where it should improve is it still not trained on indian literature. Indic language script and translation and transcribing are ok. But some great literature of indian languages , still need to be trained on those. As this is the initial days , this is completely ok. Even chatgpt was like this in its earlier releases. So i hope in another 1-2 years it will become a huge model and internationally people starts using it. All the best. There are some issues also , sometimes it is returning xml tags in response, where the response should be a text.

### 5/5 — Best research tool for everything Indian

*2026-09-03*

I have been using this tool for more than 6 months. When compared to any other agents Indus provided me with most comprehensive results. Results were accurate and resolved the queries or information sought. This is easily the best tool for India related information. Only catch is the results output is slower compared to other tools.

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Room to improve

*2026-08-17*

Very immersive experience, if sarvm ai goes the way it is going it’ll do wonders. It has some bugs, like copy and paste of prompts and responses are not streamlined yet, memory retention through different chats can be added, more features and models are always welcome.
Proud to to be talking to an Indian ai.

### 5/5 — Superb App for AI

*2026-08-14*

I am a very active user of AI software. I use ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Mehta AI. I found Indus by Sarvam to be every bit as good as these!! It’s a piece of software that does its AI function extremely well. I asked the most complex philosophical questions and it was able to ace them all. I had a wonderful discussion. I highly recommend this AI App!!

### 5/5 — Simply Best

*2026-08-13*

This is the best AI I have used. I have tried all the AIs available such as Claude, Grok, ChatGPT, Gemini, Meta, Perplexity, Copilot. This is far better than them in terms of daily use, as well as for technical use. There are few improvements which I would like to suggest first one is voice interaction feature and another one is addition of custom connectors. If these two features can be added, then Indus is superb.

### 5/5 — Absolutely Outstanding!

*2026-08-02*

Sarvam Indus AI is a game-changer. The deep research feature is incredibly accurate and detailed, it gives me well-sourced answers instead of generic replies. And the best part is the easy layout - super clean, fast, and very user-friendly. Even complex topics are so easy to navigate. Highly recommended for students, researchers, and professionals!

### 5/5 — Impressed

*2026-07-31*

Amazing AI app with a sleek, intuitive interface. There's still room for improvement, but the potential is undeniable.
By the way, I had left a feature request in the comments of a previous version, and it looks like the latest update actually includes it. I'd like to think that was thanks to my suggestion — whether it was or not, it's great to see the team listening to user feedback.

### 5/5 — Fantastic thinker and Smooth Communicator

*2026-06-29*

Have used Sarvam for a couple of months now, its sources of information and its presentation is truthful and simple to understand, and one of the best AI models I’ve used for critical and logical thinking… A sure shot suggestion if you’re looking for a trustworthy, reliable and multilingual agent

### 5/5 — Genuine feedback

*2026-06-20*

Great start by the Sarvam AI team. The app feels promising, easy to use, and has strong potential for Indian users. I appreciate the focus on local languages and accessibility. Looking forward to seeing more features, improved accuracy, and continued development. Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Fantastic start with huge potential!

*2026-06-17*

Fast and accurate. Highly recommend downloading it!

### 5/5 — Highly accurate in indian languages. Happy with the app😁❤️

*2026-04-29*

Much more accurate, natural and authentic than other apps. The info provided is also accurate. I’ve been using this app for months now and so far there is no glitch found. Would love to see newer models of real time talking, which sarvam has introduced to be incorporated in the app. Very proud of you guys. Thank you sarvam
