Only advantage is that you can download your policy. And THATS it. if you try any other feature, you will end up frustrated. Not sure why Reliance creates app which is of now use. Cant see any information to purchase. I waited for 30 min and going to some other app to purchase insurance. Despite this app, most of the informations you need it to be taken over phone. Documentation requirement shows documentation pending and in details no document required and the garage people ask for affidavit. Once the claim is approved and amount mentioned, the amount will change again at the time of payment. Mandatory to start claim, hence used. ### 1/5 — Useless app and worst support from Reliance *2023-10-11, version 1.1.7* Had purchased travel insurance policy where despite filling in insured name as per passport the portal took the registered name when policy doc was generated. Had to go through several loops and delays before policy doc was generated. Then after a lot of attempts got somebody from support attending my call, her advice was to cancel and buy a new policy. with the support person on call, the quote and policy generation again took a long time due to ‘connection issues’ according to the support person. The second time around too the name of insured was not per passport. Finally I purchased my insurance elsewhere and have been trying to get the 2 policies I took cancelled, neither emails or calls have been helping and their portal is full of bugs and incomplete functionalities for raising service requests and the app is useless when needed Stay away from Reliance General Insurance if you can ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not a user friendly app *2025-12-19, version 1.2.61* This app is the worst amongst all the insurances app i ever used i am not able to see the coverage and also i am not able to reach any of their agent the ivr says to add the registered number whereas i am calling with the registered number and still it is asking me to add the details in the app but in app there is no option available to manage the details ### 1/5 — Unnathu *2025-12-15, version 1.2.61* Useless. I contacted them many times but nobody is answering for days. You will never get a single claim. Daytime robbery is reliance insurance. Finally i ported yesterday to another company. They will reject your claim everytime with new reasons. You receive a text message asking you to check the status in the app, but ironically, the app doesn’t show anything useful. It’s almost as if they never wanted users to actually track anything through it. Frustrating—and oddly amusing. ### 1/5 — Fake insurance Policies *2025-07-12, version 1.2.54* If you are planning to take policy from reliance don't take it they will charge the amount when they are selling it but at the time of claim they will tell you we are not persons we only do things on facts. My wife fall from scooty 15 days back and I purchased the policy 4 months back but they are saying we can't give you claim on the accident , even I deposited prescription via doctor. After my complain there executive called me and they said sir claim it again we will approve it but again they rejected it. To be honest it's a waste of money never buy any policy from Reliance fake and fraud... ### 1/5 — One of the irresponsible company *2025-06-12, version 1.2.52* I was admitted in hospital 29th March and now it’s 12th June still I am waiting for my reimbursement amount. But neither I was able to download the insurance policy copy from this application nor from the website. Overall experience waste of time and money. Later on I had to take travel insurance from other insurance company. The payment got deducted but I did not receive the policy and I have to go behind the service team. Hence for the next traveler I opted ACKO and the process was smooth and immediate. No option to call customer care and find a solution. 2. Current status tracking system is missing from the App. 3. Claim request by hospital is non-trackable in the App. 4. It takes too much in chat message.
