Swap screen and another ad. ### 2/5 — This current update is not good *2026-05-05, version 6.1.601* The old version of the app is vastly superior than this option now. It showed all the warnings in the specific highlighted areas that needed to know without having to make a custom map and even then I can’t figure out how to find the warnings or watches. ### 2/5 — Since upgrade *2026-02-22, version 6.1.401* Up until three weeks ago I enjoyed your app. You’ve made it unmanageable where we got information automatically like earthquakes we now have to search and pick. The ads that pop up are very intrusive and recently there’s been ads that have popped up where the “x” to close out of them is hidden behind the page header and makes it impossible to read the blogs. ### 2/5 — Radar freezes and changes *2024-09-28, version 5.15.406* When you are zoomed out it shows storms on your area, when you zoom in, it disappears. The 24 hour radar only goes a few hours out and then freezes. I use to LOVE this weather app, but lately it has been frustrating. I have switched to AccuWeather for now, but I check back occasionally to see if the issues have been remedied. Now the map has started to actually blink on and off when your using it. Please fix this. We get bombarded with advertisements on a daily basis, thanks to greedy corporations, we don’t need one shoved in our face every time we need to check the weather! But now they have pop ups when you’re trying look at the weather! This latest version is last version I will use as I delete the app today. The adds are getting more numerous and I have even had a couple that are inappropriate. The adds play even when the app is not active any time of day . So long Weather Authority! ### 3/5 — Radar map freezes *2020-11-11, version 5.0.1005* The radar map freezes as you try to zoom in or out, when you want to move the map to view other states or countries again the map freezes and will not adjust in any way. I started with it a few years ago and it was great. I love the features it has and the radar but something happened over the past 6 months and thats when the map started freezing up. I tried other radar maps and i dont have that problem with those. I finally got so frustrated with it so i deleted it. Hopefully they fix it very soon. I really like this one. Seriously!?!?! *2026-06-02, version 6.2.512* I am a very long time user of this weather app. Brian Wilkes has been my go to for any kind of weather updates for years. I’m saddened by the fact that they have decided I need to watch an add before I am able to check the radar, see what’s in store for the day or check the 10 day… if I switch from one area to another or change my location, yep, gotta watch another add!! For this reason and this reason alone I am moving on to another source for my weather information. Very disappointing!!! But now, since the new update on May 26, 2026, whenever I open this app, it plays a full-page ad at the beginning. This used to be my go-to weather app and now I’m deleting it. The new update has fully ruined that. It is useless now. Can’t have warnings & radar at the same time. Can’t do past into future anymore. Your alerts are very informative and helpful but I don't think I need a warning that "light precipitation is falling 4 miles from my location" on a rainy day. I am very capable of looking out window.
