### 5/5 — Five stars

*2026-08-19, version 9.7.0*

This app is really helping me shop my own closet!

### 5/5 — Great wardrobe app

*2026-08-18, version 9.7.0*

The initial loading of my very large wardrobe did take time but overall the app has saved me so much time and I have curated what I have now. It’s also saved me money. I am very data driven and being able to see that I have enough dresses, for example, stopped me getting carried away in the sales. I love the collection feature for packing and planning seasonal outfits. My friends have been so impressed with my catalogue of selfies by date. Love it

### 5/5 — Fun and Helpful Visuals

*2026-08-18*

My sister recommended the Indyx app to me. Indyx is fun and easy to use! I am very visual person, so seeing all my clothing is a game-changer! It is a pleasing visual that organizes instead of overwhelms. I know what I need to purchase to fill the gaps in my wardrobe. Before using Indyx, I made written and digital lists for each season, but this is so much better! It takes a bit of time to add all the Items, but I really enjoyed the process! I challenge myself to add as much information for each Item as possible. I like how I can note when and where I purchased each item. It’s helpful to reference sizes and colors. Sometimes I forget how long I’ve had a piece of clothing, so I know the dates will come in handy in the future. Right now, Indyx has been crucial to planning my vacation capsule wardrobe. I created a Collection that acts as packing list. Before purchasing new pieces, I plug them into the app and see how they coordinate with other items. I even tagged outfits for each location and activity.

### 4/5 — Shop your wardrobe

*2026-08-17, version 9.7.0*

Great app for organising and being aware of what you already own, gives you the option of creating outfits without spreading the contents of your wardrobe across your room! I’ve created outfits I wouldn’t usually have put together, and it’s made me realise the vast c number of combos available with what I already own!
It’s helped me stop buying clothes I won’t wear and be more conscious of where the gaps in my wardrobe are. So many great features on here; tagging features, setting up capsules, the automatic identification of item categories is a huge time saver. Premium functions are something I’ll think about after a year or so of using it if I think I’ll benefit from them. The generated selfies are pretty accurate but eerie, it’s. Shame you can’t add a full body selfie to each outfit without premium.

### 5/5 — Fun and Practical

*2026-08-16, version 9.7.0*

I’ve been using Indyx for years and it has helped me figure out and save outfits that work, as well as eliminate items from my closet that I realize I don’t really wear anymore. While it may seem daunting to catalog all your items, it isn’t if you just do it a little at a time, such as cataloguing what you might be wearing that day. It’s also very easy to do! I’ve also dabbled on some of the extra features that cost money, but they are not required to use the app. None

### 5/5 — Mornings are a breeze

*2026-08-16, version 9.7.0*

Wow, I started Indyx just to get a handle on my disjointed wardrobe, but it’s doing so much more! My outfits are cohesive, planned, and easy to iterate on. I love getting inspired by other users.

### 5/5 — Great Planning Tool

*2026-08-16, version 9.7.0*

I know what’s in my closet. I have a rotation so that things are worn. I am able to evaluate where more items such as simple skirts might give me more flexibility. And I love seeing other people’s closets and styling them in new ways. It’s a paper doll app for real life!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-15, version 9.7.0*

As a certified type A person this app has been wonderful for planning my daily outfits and utilisation gall of my closet. It’s really easy to use and I love that I can randomly style other people too and peek at their closets for inspo. I’ve been using Indyx for about 2 years now and it’s still a daily tool of mine.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-08-15, version 9.7.0*

This app has made everything about my wardrobe and approach to style more organized and more fun. Incredible, a must have!!!

### 5/5 — Recommend it so often i feel like an ad

*2026-08-15, version 9.7.0*

Love this app, wish all features were free, or that it was a one time purchase instead of a subscription, but obviously understand why things cost money. The feature that allows you to shrink individual items you have selected with a button when styling an outfit is made by a beautiful genius person. glorious ux on that

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-15, version 9.7.0*

Easy to navigate, stable, growing functionality - managing a wardrobe and creating outfits has never been easier. Great application for tracking wear, cost, seasonal cycling and longivety of items. Absolutely recommend!

### 4/5 — such a great addition to my wardrobe!

*2026-08-14, version 9.7.0*

wish it was a little less glitchy, esp when visiting other people’s pages, but otherwise I love this app!! has been such a game changer for my wardrobe

### 5/5 — Best Closet/Styling App

*2026-08-14, version 9.7.0*

Because of this app, I always have something to wear. I get more out of my wardrobe and it makes having a stylist so affordable.

### 5/5 — Best Outfit App!

*2026-08-14*

I love the continuous updates with new features, it’s so intuitive and easy to use. I’ve been using it to track my clothing and expenses and creating outfits for 2+ years and it’s a life saver. My outfit combinations have never looked so good! Eye opening seeing that I keep on er-buying the same thing, my wardrobe is more varied now thanks to Indyx and I no longer feel like I have nothing to wear. The outfit combinations are endless!

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-08-12, version 9.7.0*

I PASSIONATELY talk about this app to anyone who will listen - so user friendly, so helpful, keeps me creative and accountable. All that and I’m still using the free version!

### 5/5 — Revolutionized how I dress and shop

*2026-08-11, version 9.7.0*

This app has hands down changed the way I dress for the better. I can easily see what’s in my closet, make outfits the moment I think of them, visualize how something new will fit in with what I already have, and so much more. It makes choosing what to wear each week much easier than before.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-08-11, version 9.7.0*

I am so happy to have found this app it has literally made me so more aware of my fashion and outfits it’s helped me to organise and arrange my wardrobe and helped me style myself.
I love it!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-09, version 9.7.0*

This app is exceptional. It has a great interface- pretty and intuitive. It’s also beyond helpful for its mission. This is my new best friend.

### 5/5 — game changer

*2026-08-09, version 9.7.0*

I’ve been using Indyx maybe 3 years now and love it! Cataloging all my items was fun and it help being able to archive them when I do another purge.

I wish there was a lower barrier to entry with the community styling features though. I wish there was a tab where regular users could offer their services at any price point, though I understand why the stylists are priced the way they are ($60-$80 for 3 outfit combos). But letting users match outfits for <$20 would be really fun and I’d use the feature if it was cheaper.

I also miss having the option of getting a few looks a month with the pro plan.

The new update looks great, I think the UI has improved a lot since I first started using it. Overall love the features and use this to plan my outfits for daily use and trips! I only wish the selfie feature was available for all users free as well.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not interested

*2026-08-17, version 9.7.0*

I thought it was free

### 1/5 — Not working!

*2026-07-30, version 9.6.7*

I’ve downloaded it to my iPad and I can’t get past the NOTIFICATIONS page! Created my account with my email, received an email confirming my registration BUT the app is STUCK/frozen on the notifications page! I even deleted it from my desktop AND uploaded it again, BUT it’s STILL stuck!

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-07-30, version 9.6.7*

This app wouldn’t open at all on my iPad just kept getting to the notifications page and nothing else. Frustrating so I just deleted it and will find a different app

### 1/5 — If I could give it a zero I would

*2026-07-23, version 9.6.7*

I get nothing but a screen that says notifications. I trashed and then redownloaded and I get the same thing - nothing!

### 1/5 — Men’s style still not up to par

*2026-07-21, version 9.6.6*

Looks like there’s been reviews in the last year+ noting this is not geared to men’s fashion. Cmon. I know we’re not the bulk of customers but the app is generally uninspiring if you’re looking for men’s fashion inspiration. Maybe save people the time otherwise wasted by saying upfront you really only have this built out for women’s fashion and don’t have a firm intent to make non-binary or men’s fashion equally robust as women’s.

### 1/5 — Unusable Without a Paid Membership

*2026-07-07, version 9.6.5*

After the most recent update, the calendar function is essentially unusable for anyone without a paid membership. You’re unable to edit the items assigned to certain days or view a close up of your outfit layout without the “assign selfie” buttons getting in the way. I have previously loved this app so would love to see this fixed!!

### 1/5 — Not opening

*2026-06-30, version 9.6.4*

Downloaded but the opening screen simply stalls out and never loads

### 1/5 — Glitchy to say the least

*2026-06-29, version 9.6.3*

Things work for a couple uploads then it it just stops. Buttons to move forward don’t work. You can go back. Url import works once then also stops. Useless

### 1/5 — AI slopification continues :(

*2026-05-20, version 9.6.2*

this app first appeared on my radar when a popular fashion youtuber who partners with the app talked about “shopping your closet” as an alternative to overconsumption and fast fashion. indyx initially seemed to be positioning itself as vaguely sustainable in that sense—or at least was marketed by its paid brand partners as sustainable. unfortunately, indyx’s “insider” tier now has an AI “enhance” feature just for the purpose of… generating images of SIMILAR (not the same, AI-generated SIMILAR) garments laid flat. even in the promotional emails indyx sent out, you can see that the before-and-after pics are crummy in that special AI way: the AI-gen “enhanced” images are inaccurate in color, missing tags and other details that were visible in the actual photos, etc. god, what a great use of the limited resource that is potable water! i can’t wait for the data centers to drain our lakes dry! SERIOUSLY, if someone needs a nicer flatlay photo of their garments, they can a) take one themselves, b) search up the exact item and load the brands’ flatlay images into the app (what i did!) or c) search for images of similar clothes. AI is a MAJOR ETHICAL ISSUE that consumes a frankly insane amount of water, poses terrifying privacy concerns, is being increasingly used in mass surveillance and harassment of women, hallucinates, has instructed people on how to harm themselves and others, the list goes on and on. i am so disappointed that the indyx team’s initial attempts to establish this app as in any way sustainably minded were nothing but greenwashing and shallow posturing before showing their complete lack of convictions or care for our planet. i actually was looking forward to getting more use out of this app and i’m so disappointed that yet another thing i liked has been ruined by those at the helm pushing AI on everyone. when climate crisis beyond our current comprehension occurs in our lifetime everyone who was advancing this anti-planet technology will be living in shame that they helped bring such a desolate future about, and hoping every second that no one will realize they were responsible for the planet burning

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work and no customer service help

*2026-05-17, version 9.6.2*

After uploading just two items through the URL importer, this feature stopped working. I reached out to customer service by email to be told I wasn’t copying the URL right or clicking the paste button… They offered no real help or advice on how to fix this problem. I’ve already deleted the app and will be looking elsewhere.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — love!!

*2026-09-01, version 9.8.0*

This app has helped me put together outfits so much easier and has helped me figure out what gaps I have in my wardrobe

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-09-01, version 9.8.0*

The thing I’ve really benefited from with this app is when I feel like putting together outfits I do a bunch, then when I can’t think of what to wear the outfits are waiting for me, all put together.
It’s also helped to narrow down my style and use what I have, not accidentally buy stuff similar to what I already own. So the money that I’ve saved in not buying needless things is worth the subscription cost.

### 5/5 — Best app for your wardrobe visualization

*2026-08-29, version 9.8.0*

I’ve been using it for over 2 years, and not only it helped me to save money, it also helped me to refine my style. Highly recommend especially if you are trying to take the most of what you already own

### 5/5 — Love this App

*2026-08-29, version 9.8.0*

App is easy to use and a great tool for managing your closet. Love making outfits and seeing what is working and not working. Also love the way it helps manage packing for trips.

### 5/5 — Visually pleasing & Unreal outfit planner & wardrobe store.

*2026-08-28, version 9.8.0*

Been using for a couple of years now and I love it so much. It’s got better with the background removal and AI selfie in case you forget. The capsule section is good for holidays and packing keeping things separate.
Would be lush to add on a kids bit so you can plan and keep track of kids outfitting the same app. Only bad thing is the change to the calendar which you have to manually click on to make monthly view. It’s set to daily as far as o know.

Overall unreal love the look. It’s like making your wardrobe into an online shop. Making it so easy and visually pleasing to plan and see what you own.

### 5/5 — Im addicted

*2026-08-25, version 9.7.0*

I just can’t stop putting outfits together on this app. I have 60 ready to go; so I’m never at a loss for what to wear. Lots of unexpected perks too: I have been shopping less as it’s so clear that I have more than enough in my closet. I’m getting a stronger handle on my personal style and it’s so easy to spot those items that don’t get enough wear, and either sell them or create fun outfits with them. It’s infinitely more efficient to scroll through your clothing collection and match up new possibilities - whereas that amount of self styling would be exhausting IRL. Huge fan and I use it everyday.

### 5/5 — Finally, I found what I was looking for!

*2026-08-23, version 9.7.0*

I really enjoy making up outfits with my own clothes, it shows the ‘holes’ in my closet. I’ll style an outfit that I like and the majority of the time, I’ll have most of the items, except for maybe one or two. It shows which items I am lacking, that will complete many outfits.
I also find it very fun, like playing Barbie dress up for adults. It’s very creative in trying new things out, putting different items together that you had never thought of.

### 5/5 — love it

*2026-08-22, version 9.7.0*

Been using it for 2 years now and it’s life changing to help packing and organizing your week’s outfits. No more staring at my closet not knowing what to wear and I have many more combos with the items I have

### 5/5 — Amazing app 🌟

*2026-08-22, version 9.7.0*

Such a great app to plan your daily outfits or plan your holiday packing and has really helped me realise the items and don’t use in my closet. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-08-19*

From all the apps to catalog clothes that I’ve tried this one is the best! However I’m from Brazil and it gets very expensive to become an Insider here. If it was cheaper I’d probably buy it. Besides that the free version is pretty good!
