## What is iNetWorthPreview?

iNetWorth helps you to keep track your financial assets, liabilities, income, expenses and net worth by storing and processing the financial transactions that you make (and enter). This Preview Version has all the functionality of iNetWorth except for the ability to archive transactions. However, it is limited to a maximum of 100 transactions. Once the limit of 100 transactions is reached, no more transactions can be entered. Please note, however, that all of the transactions saved to file by iNetWorth Preview remain available to iNetWorth; simply upgrade to the Full Version, navigate to the file saved by iNetWorth Preview and open it.

With iNetWorth Preview you can readily and easily:
- Reconcile your bank and credit card statements;
- Monitor your income and expenditure;
- Maintain constant awareness of your personal financial circumstances and status;
- Visualise where your money is, where it comes from and where it goes to;
- Detect unauthorised / unintended withdrawals;
- Generate bespoke transaction reports.

iNetWorth Preview supports:
- Split transactions (when multiple expense categories apply to a single payment);
- Scheduled transactions (which are processed automatically);
- Manual backup and restore;
- Import of transactions exported from online banking websites as CSV files;
- Export of transaction reports and balance sheets as CSV files;
- Multiple sets of accounts;
- Sharing Data Files between multiple networked devices;
- Multiple currency symbols.

iNetWorth Preview displays your transactions in a series of views (as selected by you):
- Accounts View (list, edit and manage transactions by account, manage accounts);
- Payees View (list, edit and manage transactions by payee, manage payees);
- Schedule View (list, edit and manage scheduled transactions and see future Net Worth and balances);
- Balances View (instantly see all of your account balances, visualise asset and expense distributions);
- More View (select currency, generate and export bespoke reports, backup and restore transaction files).

iNetWorth Preview is designed to be intuitive but it comes with a built-in link to a web-based Apple Helpbook/User Guide so help is never far away. Please see the developer's website for more details.


## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.0 — 2026-08-14

Adds the capability to search, i.e. filter, transactions tables in the Accounts, Payees and Schedule Views. This makes finding transactions to duplicate, rather than enter them from scratch, much quicker and easier.
Shows the status of Search/Cancel Search and Hide Cleared/Show All settings as symbols in the Accounts, Payees and Schedule DetailViews, when in landscape mode and, when on an iPad (but not Mini), in portrait mode, as long as the sidebar is hidden.

### 3.7 — 2026-06-25

Adds the capability to import transactions, exported from online banking websites in CSV format, in the Accounts Detail View on iPads (but not on iPad Mini); please note that this capability is not available on iPhones.
Bug fixed in generating the menu contents displayed on tapping the Ellipsis button in the Accounts Detail View.
The dates displayed all transactions tables are now set in accordance with the region associated with the full range of selected currencies (instead of just £ - Pound and $ US Dollar); however, Date Picker date formats remain either DD/MM/YYYY (for all but $ - US Dollar) or M/D/YY ( $ - US Dollar only).

### 3.6 — 2026-03-07

Adds the capability to select multiple transactions in the Accounts View to allow the user to change all of the selected transactions' dates to a new value or to toggle all of their Cleared statuses concurrently.
Bug fix: prevents the double display of source/destination account names, following the second clearance of a transfer transaction in the Accounts and Payees Detail Views.

### 3.5 — 2026-01-27

Some fixes for some bugs introduced in Version 3.4:
Scheduled transfer transactions that are entered automatically on launch are now processed correctly with valid entries for source and destination accounts in the Accounts and Payees Views;
When the Account Filter is set to an individual account in Schedule View, the selected account balance is always displayed now, even if the transaction is between two ASSETS accounts; and
When partially reconciled transfer transactions are scheduled in the Accounts and Payees Views, the original source and destination accounts now populate the EditScheduledTransaction dialogue box.

### 3.4 — 2026-01-21

Removed/cleared entries in Balance/Net Worth column of Reports View against transactions to and from the Transfer ENABLER Account.
Fixed bug: Scheduled transfer transactions were not passing through Transfer Account on manual and auto entry.
Added final source/destination account details to Transfer Account text in detailViews and dialogue boxes.
Added capability to generate scheduled transactions from normal transactions in the Accounts and Payees views.
Balances in Schedule View are always displayed when Account Filter set to an individual account.
Default period and repeats for new scheduled transactions now set to Once Only and 1.
Improved layouts in initial Payees and Balances Views displays and removed superfluous Sidebar Toggle Buttons from Detail Views.
