Since I forgot most of what happened, I replayed it. It’s still very clearly inspired by mystic messenger, which is one of the perks that attracted me to play it in the first place. Gameplay is interesting and cute. The characters itself are cliche tropes but they’re not annoying in a way where it makes me roll my eyes. They’re all pretty lovable and I’ll find each even more charming once the full game comes out. However, I haven’t seen any updates since.
