## What is Infinite Nonogram?

Infinite Nonogram is a picture cross logic puzzle game that never runs out. Solve a nonogram, reveal a picture, and watch it lock into place on a world map that keeps growing outward for as long as you keep playing. Fully playable offline.

WHAT IS A NONOGRAM?

Nonograms go by a lot of names: picross, picture cross, griddlers, hanjie, Japanese crosswords, pic-a-pix, paint by numbers. The rules are the same everywhere. The numbers along each row and column tell you how many cells to fill in. Work out which ones, and a hidden pixel-art picture appears.

A WORLD WITH NO EDGE

Most nonogram games hand you a list of levels with a number at the end of it. This one hands you a map. Every puzzle you solve is one tile of a single continuous world, and finishing a tile lifts the fog from the four tiles around it. Solve those, and the frontier moves again. There is no level 500. There is no "more puzzles coming soon". The map is drawn as you walk into it, and it does not stop.

Distinct biomes emerge as you explore - forest, desert, mountain, ruins, cosmic and more - each with its own palette. The further out you push, the stranger the world gets.

THE CODEX

Everything you uncover gets recorded. The Codex tracks which biomes you have charted, where you first found each one, how often it turns up, and what is still missing. It is the reason to go one tile further: not a score, but the record of a place only you have explored.

NEVER THE SAME PUZZLE TWICE

Every grid is generated, not pulled from a pack. You will never replay a puzzle you have already solved, and you will never hit a wall where the content ran out.

FEATURES

* Infinite, procedurally generated nonogram and picross puzzles
* One continuous world map instead of a level list
* A Codex that catalogues every biome you discover
* Classic rules: fill cells, X-mark the empties, satisfied clues cross themselves off
* Grids from quick 5x5 starters up to deeper 10x10
* A fresh daily puzzle with a bonus reward
* Pixel-art picture reveal on every single solve
* Reduce-motion setting, paper or slate board themes, bold guide lines, clues on both sides
* Optional cloud save with Apple or Google sign-in
* Plays completely offline - no connection needed
* Nine languages

ADS, BUILT THE WAY WE WANT THEM

Infinite Nonogram is free. There are ads, and we built them the way we would want them as players. A small banner sits on the menus. Rewarded ads are opt-in only - watch one if you want a hint, or to take back a mistake. There are no full-screen interruptions. No interstitials. Ever. A puzzle is never broken in half by an ad.

Coins can be bought if you want to move faster. Nothing is locked behind them.

NO TIMERS, NO PRESSURE

No violence, no countdown clocks, no streak to lose. Pick it up for five minutes or explore for an hour. Your place is saved exactly: every tile, every half-finished grid, every picture you have already drawn.

Start your world. Keep it growing. The puzzles do not run out.

### 5/5 — Great for an endless amount of puzzles and satisfying progress

*2026-09-07*

This game is a fantastic way to do picrossing, and while I hate to say anything bad, I have found that a few puzzles only accept one solution when there is sometimes more than one, which is frustrating but a simple workaround. I also would just love to see this game expand in quality and in depth locations that look and feel more like what they are named (pls, just add color), and in more ways to spend currency, because there really isn’t any cool way to do that. but seriously, didnt expect this game to be this great, and I hope for more users to give it a shot!

### 5/5 — A developer that cares

*2026-08-13*

I love the concept of uncovering your own world as you do Nonograms! The controls are simple and easy to understand and the coin system makes doing the puzzle feel rewarding. So far I have yet to encounter any ads which makes the game all so much more peaceful and only focusing on fun. I do wish there was a way to save the game so I won’t lose my world if I delete the game, but other than that very nice nonogram game!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.5.3 — 2026-09-21

Big pictures are now solved a piece at a time. A large area on the map is divided into tiles — tap the one you want, finish it, and that part of the picture appears straight away. You can switch this off in Settings.

Signing in with Apple or Google works again, so your progress can follow you to another device.

The tutorial is gentler, and offers a hand if you get stuck.

### 0.5.0 — 2026-09-18

Your world can travel with you now. Sign in with Apple or Google and your map, Codex, coins and streaks come with you to another device.

Already played on both? You choose which save to keep — the two are shown side by side with the numbers in front of you, so nothing is overwritten by surprise.

Sign out, or delete your account and its cloud save, any time from Settings.

### 0.4.2 — 2026-09-12

Short on coins? A short video now earns you some at more moments — re-prints and ink sets, not just boosters.

Join the Puzzlica Discord from Settings: report bugs, shape features, see builds early.

In “Allow mistakes” mode the game now tells you when your board fits every clue but isn’t quite the picture, instead of going quiet.

Fixed: Turkish, Russian and Ukrainian text now renders properly — the bundled fonts were missing those alphabets entirely.

### 0.3.0 — 2026-09-06

A small, tidy release.

• The pop-up that asked how you were enjoying the game right after a solve is gone. It interrupted the best moment of a puzzle, and asking someone how they feel before deciding whether to invite them to review isn't a fair way to ask. So we stopped.

• If you'd like to rate Infinigram, there's now a "Rate Infinigram" option in Settings — on your terms, whenever you feel like it.

• The usual round of fixes and polish under the hood.

### 0.2.0 — 2026-09-03

This update is built almost entirely from your feedback.

THE MAP
• Zooms out much further — the world map now pulls back far enough to see where you actually are.
• A new Frame button fits a whole mural on screen in one tap.
• Opening the map now shows you the picture instead of a corner of it.
• Smoother panning and zooming, especially across large foggy areas.

SOLVING
• Fixed drag direction. Sliding to fill or cross a long line no longer jumps to the wrong axis when your finger wanders.
• The X button is bigger and far easier to see, on both light and dark boards.
• Better use of the screen, with a one-tap toggle between fitting the whole board and a comfortable zoom.
• Your zoom no longer resets when the screen changes size.

NEW — CROSS OFF CLUES
Clue numbers now strike through as you complete their runs, but only when it is genuinely certain which one you finished. Turn it off under Settings › Cross off clues as you solve.

NEW — ALLOW MISTAKES
Prefer to catch your own errors? Turn on Settings › Allow mistakes and a wrong square stays on the board for you to find and fix later, instead of vanishing the moment you place it. Off by default, so nothing changes unless you want it to.

ALSO
• A new completed-picture reveal, and a share card that actually works.
• Various fixes to fog, lighting and art across the world map.

Thank you to everyone who wrote in — nearly every item above came from a review.
