I find that it improves my reflexes and gives me a boost of alertness - an electronic version of coffee if you will. My only issue with it is the fact that quite often the camera phases through the tunnels, sinking into the plane and making it impossible for the player to see incoming obstacles; you quickly lose. This glitch mostly appears in the higher difficulty levels, which is really pesky because after struggling for a few minutes, you are automatically doomed.
