Would be cool for my iPhone 15 Pro Max I'm getting sooner or later. If you read this, infiniteX2P Team, then I'll be happy. P.S. Could you make it so I can use it on the phone screen (in the free version) ### 2/5 — Promising, but too many issues to justify subscription *2025-10-22* I have been looking for an iOS alternative to Samsung Dex for a while, so when I saw this I got excited and paid the monthly fee. The setup was smooth, but within 5 minutes of playing with the desktop environment, I ran into so many bugs and design flaws that I couldn't use it for any of my intended purposes and canceled my subscription. Issues I encountered in those 5 minutes: Windows dragged into the bottom third or right third of the screen became invisible. The behavior of the close/minimize/maximize buttons is inconsistent at best. When trying to log in to Google in the browser, the right-click context menu's background does not render, making it hard to read, and the autofill option is unclickable; this is a total dealbreaker since I have lengthy passwords I can't type manually, and there's no way to install a password manager like Bitwarden in this environment. If just this issue were fixed I'd consider using this app again. The window borders are extremely rounded, obscuring parts of webpages and causing the drag-to-resize zone to unintuitively extend out into empty space. One of the icons in the dock has a square symbol and seemingly does nothing when clicked, and the UI doesn't offer hints about what it's for. To top it all off, the only avenue for getting support from the developer is via X/Twitter, which has got to be the worst platform for facilitating customer relationships; I deleted my account years ago and am not going to rejoin that toxic platform just to provide feedback for an app I've used one time. Just use an email address and Github Issues. I normally wouldn't be so critical of an independent developer doing cool work, but charging a monthly fee and advertising this as a "true desktop-class multitasking environment" seems premature and misleading at this point in its development. However, I think it's great someone is trying to fill this niche, and I would happily pay a subscription once the app is refined further. ### 4/5 — Nooo not the dock *2025-09-25* why why WHY the dock I want it to be on the bottom also ### 4/5 — A very good app *2025-09-21* So far I like this app and see it’s potential, some bugs I discover is if example you exit or switch to a different app and come back now the mouse position and the display position no longer aligns which means when you thinking you clicking on a particular spot it is moved. Feautures maybe allow to run other installed apps directly into the app instead of backing out of infinitex2, Add additional features maybe a virtual drive to allow comparable system apps rather than relying on web apps and lastly please fix the web browser switching to desktop and mobile on every launch is cumbersome or visiting a new site. Overall it’s a grate app that makes my phone more productive 4/5 fix or add some features for that 5 star. We are working towards fixing bugs, so please stay tuned! ### 3/5 — Great idea *2025-04-13, version 7.0.6* Good parts: It is a really great idea, implementation is great, has very clear and concise setup instructions, and UI looks familiar to any macOS user, I really wanted it to work for me, but: To be improved parts: every time I tried to click on the item in the bottom menu, the iPhone would return to the Home Screen (same behaviour if you swipe from the bottom of the screen). I had to reach to my phone and switch back to the application. When switching back to the application, the app which I picked from the bottom menu would be open. Unfortunately that made the application unusable for me, so I had to give up. To those planning paying for this app ‘DONT’, the app doesn’t work at all as shown on the developer video. When any icon is clicked it just minimize and log me out of the app and have to restart again. This app is not usable. The developer refused my request for a refund. I got scammed. ### 1/5 — Close but no cigar *2024-11-02* This looked like it had potential but looks like it has limitations. You can’t change the search engine, I don’t want google. It doesn’t look like it uses the native iPhone apps. Bringing up the documents app is Google docs not pages. The files app has no access to the native files app. So you have to import files you want duplicating things. The app shuts my iPhone down. All i have to do is to go to purchase the app, pick monthly, then decline the prompt to pay. Charge 2 times *2024-01-30, version 4.3.6* Such a nice concept but, need to fix restore purchase bug “ Restore purchase doesn’t work Got freeze and got double charged “ I have purchased yesterday. I’ve installed it on 15 pro max. When I downloaded on ipad and tried to do restore purchase it didn’t work. It gets hang. Then I press purchase again, usually when we purchase something from apple store, same app doesn’t change again. This one dose. So just to check I deleted this app from iphone 15 pro max and tried to reinstall again and press restore purchase, and it didn’t work. I couldn’t get Apple TV to play properly, but I can just use the native iOS TV app for that. It would be nice if iCloud Pages and Numbers worked through this, but I understand the developer probably can’t do anything about that. For what this can do, I think it works very well. If it’s possible to move that dock/task bar up just a tad higher, I constantly click the iPhone’s home bar instead of one of the app icons on there. Other than that, I love this app. As soon as I update to a USB-C iPhone, I’m considering replacing my MacBook with a NexDock and just using my iPhone as my only computer. Most of my work is done through web apps, so I’m very certain this will work out. You CANNOT use other apps on your device like with Stage Manager or a true desktop mode… but now that those misconceptions are out of the way, for what it is, this app is AWESOME! As an avid supporter and user since version 5.0, I’ve been using InfiniteX2P on my iPhone 15 Pro and iPad Air 4th Gen, both of which lack stage manager, and I can confidently say this app just about fills that desire with vast improvements every update! Even with this being written from the perspective of a 6.0 user having JUST started trying version 7.0 which JUST released (literally minutes ago at the time of writing), I have no doubt this powerful application can more than fill your browser-based needs. I can edit Wordpress websites, type up YouTube scripts, access and reorganize files from online service providers, edit photos with online tools like Photopea, remotely access my computers, and just about everything else I want to do! If you need a desktop mode and wish your iPhone or non-Stage-Manager iPad (it can be used on Stage Manager supported devices though, allowing for even better web based multitasking) could make better use of its power, this is the app for you! ### 5/5 — Great App! *2024-07-10* Can’t say I’ve ever written a review for an app before but this one I felt deserved one. Short and simple, if your looking to turn you iPad into more of a Chromebook experience this app does it. I currently use an iPad mini as my “computer” because I don’t like to carry to much with me with what I do for work. It’s a bit hard to do everything on such a small screen so being able to use this app in connection with an external monitor makes the iPad mini the only device I feel I really need.
