Now with everything maxed out I can’t participate in training troops or anything. The game has been lagging and loosing its flair. People are going to stop playing this game. No message from the development team, no new update with a fix or at least, reverse changes to prior versions even though they were issues with invisible elite troops plus snowflakes not being credited (I was missing 750 snowflakes before the game stopped working) from the event after paying the $9.99 pack. I really hope that the dev team is going to improve their testing and CI/CD pipeline before pushing faulty updates. On the plus side the game is pretty cool and fun, good UI but the bugs and the limitations (you are stuck at level 80 and cannot upgrades buildings, troops, etc. pretty fast though the research helps a bit) brings down the score from 3-4 stars to only 2 stars at this stage. Looking forward to fixes and improvements. And a $9.99 credit if I cannot play the game and use my pack for a few days ! ### 2/5 — Do something about the cheating players *2023-09-22, version 2.5.20* There are players getting top chief points that would require hundreds of thousands of gems per day for multiple days in a row. Over 50% of my server is inactive. I don’t want to have to keep creating new accounts on different servers to enjoy the game. Literally anything you could delete the accounts after 2 week-1 month or something. Or move everyone who is inactive for a while to the same server. I don’t know but get rid of them so new people can come. Please! Im begging you! I love the game but it is driving me crazy!!! 🙏🏻😭 ### 1/5 — Passable game done poorly *2023-08-15, version 2.5.0* As someone who has been playing this game regularly for the past few months my recommendation is if you haven’t started playing then don’t. While the overall gameplay loop can be enjoyable the game has a number of issues. For starters, if you are expecting the game you see in ads or even in the pictures in the App Store, you are in the wrong place. Most of what you see in the promotional material disappears early on into playing and you are left with a pretty standard base building simulation. Ads are misleading at best. Second the game is buggy. The ui regularly disappears and chat often won’t load without a forced restart. Third. The game not only pay to win but pay to harass as well. Money buys you power here and if you want to show off you are wholly allowed to stomp on anyone else that isn’t spending all of their resources to use a shield. End up on a server with an aggressive over spender an you will have a horrible experience. Forth, support is useless. I reported a player for sending harassing messages to myself and member of my alliance. Response was “it’s a war game”. No investigation whatsoever. Just copy paste text. So players are allowed to be as toxic in game as they want with no repercussions. Support is also outsourced, as someone who lives in the same time zone as the developer I was only getting support responses in the middle of the night. So don’t expect help in a timely fashion but do expect copy/paste answers when you ask for it. ### 3/5 — Eh *2023-08-09, version 2.4.92* I like the game and all don’t get me wrong but I just bought an Apple gift card so I can buy some of the packages in the game but low and behold it won’t let me use it. I have tried several times to use the Apple gift card and it wouldn’t work. Can someone tell me why it doesn’t work or why it doesn’t want to go through? I don’t mind spending money but since I can’t purchase anything with my Apple gift card I give it 3 stars instead of 5 stars. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2023-08-07, version 2.4.92* Pretty buggy, I frequently lose trained troops and have issues with building merging. I was able to verify that the server leader could not have won certain events statistically unless he was able to bend the rules to his favor. Spending money would not have enabled the person to win the events. So, if you want to play the game to build up characters go ahead. If you want to advance to the server leader or win events you won’t be able to do it. The server leaders have more than one account to maintain control. Either way the game has a good balance as stronger players can win their battles & ultimately win server wars & gain lots of points to keep growing stronger, however also the smaller players can just heal up in the hospital & keep having fun & developing too without losing too much. So the balance between f2p & paying players in well balanced. Lots of fun events to do when not in a server war ( server wars are Friday to Sunday & last 3 days at the end of each month ) but for the rest of the month your server can choose to grow together & you can develop your city & troops ( not too complicated but enough to do ).
