Poor software management and ringfencing app existence on a device ### 2/5 — Defaults to headset speaker for video call *2021-06-10, version 1.6.2* Pretty barebones app which for some reason defaults to using the headset speaker when doing a video call. This is a dead end product. ### 2/5 — Didn’t work on iPad *2020-10-14, version 1.6.2* On my iPad, the “Start eVisit” button in the Gmail invitation didn’t open in this downloaded app. It opened in the Gmail browser, where the microphone and camera selection doesn’t work. So my Doctors time and mine was wasted. This app looks very simple, which is good. However the toggle between headphones and speaker is not intuitive for new users, especially when it shows green when no headphones are connected. Show both icons, with the active one green and the other red. Fix these things and my review would be much better. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2020-10-01, version 1.6.2* I’m not sure why my doctors uses this garbage app. It’s the most unintuitive app for video conferencing. My doctor was struggling with it and had to send multiple links. I had to download it to my old iPhone 7, then it downloads an older version of the app, and that one sometimes works. It never connects properly. It has been doing this for over 2 years, and they never fix the app. My doctor appts are a huge stress for me because of this unreliable app. Half our appts end up over the phone, because the app won’t connect. Who would assume that ordinary mortals would submit to such nonsense (“do this; now do that; then try this”) only to discover that, after doing this, that, and then this, — nothing works. I have unsuccessfully tried to use this sorry app before, and on each occasion have ended up by calling my doctor and requesting a simple phone call. But wait a minute. . . . wouldn’t this seem too reasonable? ### 1/5 — App requires update for iPhone 14 Pro users *2022-09-23, version 1.10.0* The app elongates / warps the video image of those who are using iPhone 14 devices (front facing camera). ### 1/5 — Audio unusable *2022-05-17, version 1.9.0* Audio has been struggling for months, finally stopped working altogether. When you go to click on your meeting link it will not open in the app on an iPhone.
