## What is Infinity?

Infinity turns any video already on your phone into exactly the file you actually need — no re-encoding, no watermark, no account.
Pick a video from your library, trim it to the part you want, then choose what comes out:

• Silence the video — keep the picture, drop the sound
• Separate audio and video — get two clean files instead of one
• Extract audio only — pull just the sound out of any clip, trimmed or not

Every export lands in Infinity's own Files list, ready to play back, share, or delete — the original video in your library is never touched.

Why Infinity
- Processed entirely on your device
- No account, no sign-in required to use the core tools
- A simple three-step flow: pick, trim, split

Whether you need a muted clip for a slideshow, a standalone audio track, or video and audio as separate files, Infinity gets there in a few taps.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-05

What's new in 1.0.1

• Faster startup: the app no longer waits on a network round trip before
  drawing its first screen.
• App updates no longer re-download extension packages that are already
installed and verified. Less data and less waiting on the first launch
  after each update.
• Fixed: returning from the player put the files list into selection mode
on its own, showing a delete checkbox on every row.
• Fixed: picking the newest version of an extension package misread dotted
versions and could choose 1.0.9 over 1.0.10.
• The tracking permission prompt is now requested once the app is in the
foreground and has drawn its first frame, which is when iOS can show
  the dialog.
• Security hardening: HTTPS-only traffic and stricter validation of the
package catalogue before anything is installed.
• Updated privacy manifest to accurately reflect the data the app handles.
