### 1/5 — Where are all the symbols?

*2026-08-18*

Where are all the symbols?

**Developer response:** Thanks for giving Infinity Sketch a try — sorry it wasn't what you expected.

There's no built-in symbol library, and that's on purpose. The app is built
around *your* hand-drawn symbols combined with straight, grid-snapped lines —
that mix is what gives the sketches a clean but human look, instead of the
stamped-clipart feel of a symbol palette. So the symbols are the ones you draw.

You don't have to redraw them every time, though:
• Draw a symbol once, then copy and duplicate it anywhere on the canvas.
• Paste images from the clipboard as symbols or backgrounds — a standard symbol
set from anywhere works fine as a source.
• New in 2.1: run the free server and an AI assistant can draw into your canvas
directly, including repeated symbols snapped to your document's grid.

If a built-in library is genuinely what would make this useful for you, tell me
which set — electrical, logic gates, plumbing, flowchart — and I'll take the
request seriously. Feedback like this is how the app gets its roadmap.

### 1/5 — Can't find basic set up such as Grid Size.

*2026-06-30*

The basic document settings that one would expect to set up are missing.

**Developer response:** Hi! Just tap the “Side Panel” icon — you’ll find fully configurable grid settings there ;)

### 1/5 — 'No copy & paste

*2026-05-22*

This is not useable

**Developer response:** Hi, copy and paste between documents via the system pasteboard is definitely possible! After selecting, tap "Copy selection to pasteboard" in the menu. In the destination document, tap the "Insert image" button to paste.

### 4/5 — pretty cool

*2026-02-02*

I like pretty much everything about this app except for the UX around pasting in images. You can only paste in an image if you first take a screenshot of it, which seems weird. why add extra unnecessary steps? Why not just allow people to paste things in?

**Developer response:** Hi, actually this should work.
For example: You can copy images from your Photos app to the system pasteboard and paste them into Infinity Sketch.
Please reach out to me on X if you need further help.

### 4/5 — Insert image

*2025-02-15*

Love the app for drawing impromptu diagrams on the job. Is there an option to insert images and pdfs?

**Developer response:** Thank you! Adding images is possible since v1.11 :)

### 4/5 — Background Grid

*2025-02-04*

Is there a way to export the background grid? If so, solid 5 stars.

**Developer response:** With version 1.10, a new 'Include Grid in Export' option has been added to the document settings, enabling the grid to appear in the exported PNG image when activated. Enjoy ;)

### 5/5 — It’s surprising

*2026-02-05*

You download it, it’s done In seconds and once you open it it’s not bad at all!! 👌

**Developer response:** Thank you very much 🙂

### 5/5 — An app for Marine Engineers

*2025-12-04*

This app is great for marine engineers when they are tracing systems. It’s like writing on engineering graph paper but your lines snap straight without needing a straight edge!

I do have a few feature requests.
- In-App-Tutorials: You should make a tutorials page with all of your X videos because I couldn’t figure out how to make perfect circles or rotate drawings till I looked at your X profile.
- Grid Presets: The ability to save presets and make one default so when the user creates a new drawing, the preset is automatically applied.
- Text annotations for labeling components.
- A Symbol Library: Save selected symbol drawings and access them in a collapsible side panel by dragging the symbol to the canvas. Allow the user to create multiple libraries to categorize components.

**Developer response:** These are valid points. I have them on my to-do list!
Thank you very much!

### 5/5 — Great for WhiteBoard in Dark Mode

*2025-10-14*

I use this for “White Board” Presentations, but in “Dark Mode”. It allows me to visually draw complex concepts in order to simplify them.

Many whiteboard apps do not support Dark Mode, so thank you for creating this!

**Developer response:** Thank you, Sir!

### 5/5 — Great app for drawing circuit schematics

*2025-08-27*

Great app. Helped me a lot!

**Developer response:** Thank you, Sir!

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Pretty good but…

*2025-08-23*

Could you include a way to do diagonal lines? Like 45° snap? I know the ruler will do it but it would be cool for like drawing a resistor in a schematic or I’m sure there’s other diagonal stuff people draw like monster teeth or whatever

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you very much for your feedback :)
Drawing perfect 45° diagonal lines is definitely possible with the current grid system.
I posted a short video on my X profile, which shows how to draw American resistors ;)

### 5/5 — very nice

*2025-03-15*

just downloaded this just a lil step ahead of freeform. yeah

**Developer response:** Thank you, Sir!
