It ultimately lets me in and recognizes that I’ve paid, but that’s stupid and shouldn’t be. And ALSO stupid is that data for the Canadian dollar doesn’t go back past like 1914 or something. I’ll be looking for a better app that does this job if these two problems aren’t fixed with a long overdue update. Update: my previous rating was three stars but the developer responded to my review specifically and corrected the issues I mentioned. I get y’all gotta keep the servers up and running, but really? A subscription to a *calculator*? Do you realise how crazy that sounds? Shouldn’t have to pay to access it. Just use adverts or something. I think we can agree that this is a good and necessary thing to have, but I think that’s all the more reason to make it free with ads and then have a “premium” ad-free version. I am sick and tired of having to pay a subscription to use everything I come across. Well, kind of. When it wants to work, it’s good, and pretty accurate. But it isn’t really responsive. It doesn’t register me hitting ANY of the buttons 3/4 of the time. When scrolling through the years, it regularly will start scrolling the other side. So you need to stop the scroll, and try again on the other side, only for the same thing to happen. It DOES NOT like when you want to convert anything below a dollar. I really hope things get patched out. Otherwise, I will have to look elsewhere.
