However, I feel that over the past two years, the app has changed significantly. It seems that people are now given priority simply because they have a large number of followers, rather than also valuing those of us who have been here for years, creating content and leaving genuine reviews from the beginning. It’s honestly very disappointing to see users with 5K, 10K, or 20K followers receiving amazing opportunities, while those of us who have been part of Influenster for many years and don’t have a huge following are left with very few options to claim, often products we aren’t even interested in. I understand that brands want to work with creators, but Influenster started as a platform where real consumer opinions truly mattered. I hope you can bring that back and place more value on experience, quality, and honest reviews—not just follower count. I would love to feel that my years of participation and effort are valued again. ### 2/5 — taking away completed marks *2026-08-21, version 4.3.49* This app used to be really nice and a good way to grow your content- but it recently has been giving me big issues, and I can no longer complete tasks. I had 3-4 products I spent a lot of time making tiktoks for, they showed as approved and completed for MONTHS, (never took them down or privated) and are no showing as incomplete preventing me from using the app. I have contacted support and have done everything they told me such as reconnecting my account, and it has not been fixed. It makes me really sad because I loved the app, but may have to delete now :( ### 3/5 — Errores y problemas con productos dañados *2026-08-08, version 4.3.48* La verdad me encanta la app. Muchos productos son geniales y llegan muy bien pero ya muchas veces tuve problemas con los que entregan dejándolos en las aseras tirados y ahora es con productos que no encienden y cuando haces el reporte nadie te contacta me llegó una calculadora llevo casi 3 semanas esperando que me contacten luego del reporte porque no prende no importa conque batería lo intente entonces como puedo hacer mis review? I’ve had a problem with a product and reach out for help 4 different times just to get an auto reply that they couldn’t help. At first I liked the app but not so sure now. ### 3/5 — Worsening user experience. *2026-07-28, version 4.3.47* Ever since the paste option was disabled, I’ve been putting less effort into my product reviews. Any new change they’ve been putting out seems to inconvenience and annoy reviewers even more. I don’t find it nearly as worthy to do all this unnecessary work for a $3 conditioner or even a $30 body lotion, if it’s going to sit and collect dust and expire eventually. As a result of that and the increasing hoops Bazaarvoice creates just to get us to review things (who remembers an exact “experience date”? Way too much hassle), I’ve been declining an increasing number of claims and holding out for something that either adds value and utility to my life (like a high-tech vacuum or an IPL machine), or things that I know the rest of my family will love so that I can gift it to them and get their opinion. That generosity serves me far more than gathering random things just for the sake of it, considering what I have to do for them. I don’t need to go all “ooh” and “ahh” over as simple body lotion, but that’s strictly my view. I’ve been valuing my time as of late, figuring out what I can achieve with that, and I find that with all of these hassles, reviewing things on this app is becoming less worthy and less enjoyable. Take this review as you will. ### 3/5 — Gone downhill *2026-07-14, version 4.3.46* As of the early 2026 update this has gone completely downhill. You barely get any claims, and when you do, they’re stuck in your tasks forever. I have many things that just never sent, so many app bugs. Constant locked tasks showing over due. But you at least do so with the promise of free products to review. It’s been a month, and I’ve been offered cheese once. That’s it. If I could go back in time and tell myself to not bother with this app, I would absolutely do so. I would only recommend this app to my enemies. I promise you, it won’t be the fun test items you’re hoping for. Don’t download this ### 1/5 — This App is a SCAM *2026-06-26, version 4.3.45* This App is a SCAM. They require you to input all kinds of personal information and they give you nothing in exchange. They promise they will give you products to test and write reviews about, but their algorithms are faulty and they do not give you any of the free products they promise. Also, the organization is not staffed by human beings, but by bots and the bots cannot deal with their algorithm errors. I no longer receive product campaign notifications through the app or by email. I have to constantly open the app to see if anything new has come. All of my settings are correct, so I’m at a loss. No response from support after weeks of waiting. I have been with Influenster for years now. I would really love to see this fixed. ### 1/5 — Great Engagement, Zero Offers *2026-08-11, version 4.3.48* ⭐️ 1 Star — Disappointed I’ve been on Influenster for over two months and haven’t received a single offer. I have almost 10K genuine followers, reels that reach up to 200K views, and posts with 3K+ likes and 700+ comments. I create relatable, everyday-life content with real engagement. I understand not every creator will qualify for every campaign, but receiving absolutely nothing after two months is frustrating. I’d really like more transparency about how creators are selected and what it takes to qualify for opportunities. ### 1/5 — FIX THE APP *2026-08-11, version 4.3.48* I SAID I DONT WANT TO JOIN DAMN CIRCLES AND STOP MAKING ME DO CAPTCHA EVERY STEP OF ME ADDING MY SOCIALS! This app has so many issues it’s ridiculous and their support team is trash. This is my final straw with you idiots removing me from a campaign several hours after I signed up for one. ### 1/5 — Messed up socials *2026-08-01, version 4.3.48* I connected my IG to Influenster and now my IG is locked. I am unable to get in, reset password … nothing. So thanks for that. ### 1/5 — Years Without a Claim *2026-07-28, version 4.3.47* It takes ages to get a claim let alone a survey !! You could go years without getting anything! Please make it fair for everyone!! ### 1/5 — Please fix the bugs *2026-07-23, version 4.3.47* Please fix the ongoing bugs with the app. I’ve contacted support multiple times through different emails, but the issue still hasn’t been resolved. My TikTok account was automatically disconnected from Influenster without me removing it, and now I’m unable to reconnect it. Every time I try, the app asks for a verification code that simply NEVER arrives. Because of this, I can’t complete my campaign tasks. Even worse, tasks that I successfully completed and submitted weeks ago — and had already been marked as completed — are now suddenly showing as incomplete more than a month later because the app lost access to my TikTok connection. This is not the only issue. Since around March, the platform has been experiencing several bugs related to completing and validating campaign tasks, especially video submissions. It’s extremely frustrating for creators to complete campaigns correctly and on time, only to have technical issues with the app make those tasks appear incomplete afterward. Please prioritize fixing the TikTok connection/verification code issue and the recurring problems with video task validation. ### 1/5 — Time waster *2026-07-17, version 4.3.46* Filled out their extensive questions, connected my socials and waited a week but got absolutely nothing. Apparently they want you to review items on your own first which is complete bs. The notifications legit never come thru ### 1/5 — :(( *2026-07-08, version 4.3.45* i've been trying for so long and it hasn't given me any things to review except for dog food. i don't have a dog!! ### 1/5 — Auto-rejecting posts *2026-07-07, version 4.3.45* I used to love this review site, but recently they have been rejecting my instagram posts over and over and over again for the same product. They falsely claim that photos that I took myself and have all of the metadata for are AI generated when I just used a standard Instagram filter on the photos. Whatever their rejection system is now, it keeps rejecting legitimate content that we create ourselves and it’s wasting a lot of my time and energy all for some cheap five dollar item that wasn’t even worth it to begin with. I can’t even get a real person to respond to me. They just auto reply. This is so frustrating. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Influenster was a really fab app - but not so good now. *2026-08-28, version 4.3.50* Update So for the last year when I get a notification on my iPhone it won’t play sound - so I miss any offer unless I’m actually on the phone - this is an app problem as I have changed phones and it still doesn’t make a sound (all other apps do) - it is set to sound in all areas it should be - I even took it to an Apple shop where they confirmed it was the Influenster app causing the problem- I have contacted Influenster and when they finally answer after many weeks, it isn’t ever resolved- this is incredibly frustrating!
