I simply don’t understand why it is so difficult for developers and ux designers to make a competent application when there are already so many that exist and work without issues. Dealer safeguard solutions seems to refuse to want to improve their product for their customers. The app always freezes often deleting all information that was entered it cannot seem to ever crop the image properly and the overall interface is terrible. Took several weeks to finally start working after my company switched to it. Now it constantly crashes every single time I try to scan a customer’s license. It’s 100% useless to me now. This company made a huge mistake with this release. There needs to be an option for a manual photo to be taken of the VIN and Miles. Not all vehicles display that information in a way that can be cropped. I’m having to take a photo of the miles or vin with a coworkers camera, so that the stupid app can crop the image. You have to basically have a perfect line up for the app to successfully crop the image. Not only is it hard to get a good photo of the VIN on the card but the miles can be almost impossible to get a photo since the miles are usually not in a crop-able. Please fix this issue.
