### 3/5 — Why can’t you let us stay logged in???

*2026-08-19*

Years ago, I had informed delivery app that kept me logged in. So I was thrilled to see the Informed Delivery app return. So much easier BUT won’t keep me logged in like the original app did. That is the only reason I don’t use the app. Just now I tried the new app update and logged in, touched something on the screen that closed the app and I had to log in again. HATE it. I keep hoping each update will change that. But no. LET US STAY LOGGED IN.

**Developer response:** Thank you for using Informed Delivery and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad you’re enjoying the app!

### 4/5 — User Cool

*2026-08-05*

Great app to monitor your mail delivery and your shipping packages and Face ID works great on my iPhone 16 and even though it took me a few months to figure it out it has been working great but the reason I gave only four stars is because sometimes it makes me login to Face ID again and sometimes it’s a little bit wrong about how much mail I get in a day but that could be the mail carriers fault. So I like the app because it’s got a podcast that you can listen to if you know how to use it and it’s very easy for me to use and it’s free.

**Developer response:** Thank you for using Informed Delivery and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad you’re enjoying the app!

### 3/5 — Needs Fixing

*2026-04-22*

I love the idea of this app. I get the daily emails but this app is much more convenient. The app itself is laid out super nice and is very easy to navigate. My issue: I have to do the multi factor authentication every single time I log into the app even though I select ‘remember this device’ every time. It’s really inconvenient. I appreciate the security around it, but it would be great if it could truly remember my device so I didn’t have to do the MFA every single time. It’s a pain. I don’t mind logging in every time, but the multi factor thing shouldn’t be every time.

**Developer response:** Thank you for using Informed Delivery and for your feedback. We appreciate your suggestion and have shared it with our product team for consideration in future updates.

### 3/5 — Mail/Packages Left At Home

*2026-04-21*

I have filled out the papers to say where to leave my packages & they still want leave them where I’ve stated & had many taken because everyone could see them when they went by & called the PostMistress & she did her job, but my delivery driver no matter how often told, refuses to put it on my Back screened in porch by my back door, but leaves it all out in the weather. I’ve had items ruined by rain, fell off w/my mail w/it under a rubber band, came home to find them in the grass where they fell off the wall of my carport, & all I asked was her to walk 15 more steps to prevent it & I’m just simply tired of complaining because apparently no matter how much I do, I know she’s being told & yet still refuses to follow my wishes as posted on the letter she had me fill out where to put my Packages & found my mail all over the yard since it came out from under the rubber band because she wouldn’t put the mail in the box, I guess it took to much out of her day. I’m only wondering if anyone else has these issues because I’m about to get a Post Office Box & see if all my packages & mail fit in it or if I never get any mail because I’m tired of losing packages, reporting it, filing reports, & nobody being able to get her to simply follow simple directions as even told by her supervisor & head of our local Post Office!!!😡🤯🤐🙈

### 3/5 — Yes - It’s back!

*2026-04-04, version 1.1.0*

I’ve missed the old Informed Delivery app. I hated using the USPS app after it was discontinued. Now I can see just what I want as soon as I log in. 2 stars off because - just like the USPS app and website, you have to log in EVERY time. Hate that! I don’t use face recognition so still type in my info. The previous Informed Delivery app kept you logged in. Give us the option to stay logged I. And this is a 5 star app!

### 2/5 — Issues

*2026-04-02, version 1.1.0*

Very slow, doesn’t even inform me of my mail.

### 4/5 — Face ID no longer works

*2026-03-30, version 1.1.0*

These last few days I receive an error when trying to sign in via Face ID, which o usually have no problem with. It simply will not let me and tells me to sign in with my username and password instead. It used to work just fine until recently, when I, also, suddenly need to sign in every single time I enter the app. Please fix! Thank you.

### 4/5 — Delete The Old USPS App & Use This

*2026-03-20, version 1.1.0*

The Old USPS App Is The Worst & Most Outdated Interface I Have Ever Seen But This Is Honestly The Light At The End Of The Tunnel. Sure, The App Can Have A Cleaner Design Hence My 4 Star Review But This Is Very Solid + Has Dark Mode!

### 2/5 — Stopped working…

*2026-03-19, version 1.1.0*

In the last few weeks, the app stopped showing expected mail and images of mail, even though there’s mail that comes. It now only shows advertisements from USPS that is somehow considered “mail”.

### 3/5 — Face ID

*2026-03-10, version 1.0.0*

Nice addition. Do have to sort through ad clutter to view mail. Still not optimized for iPad.

### 1/5 — Informed Delivery App Crashes

*2026-03-04, version 1.0.0*

As of March 3 2026 the app crashes when you attempt to view mail photos. The ability to select photos of mail that was not delivered has been removed. Terrible app.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-03-01, version 1.0.0*

I spent, or rather wasted, a half an hour on the phone with an alleged postal employee who claimed the account I had was deleted and over 24 hours later, it’s still there. Obviously, all US gov’t entities are staffed with complete morons who have to go online while you sit there on hold while they search the web for the correct answers and procedures while claiming they’re speaking with their boss who’s probably an AI-generated nitwit resembling Max Headroom from MTV. Absolutely useless.

### 1/5 — Packages won’t load

*2026-05-31*

I was so excited to use this app as it’s quicker and easier than the website. My excitement was short-lived as now it gives me an error message continually that says “something went wrong fetching your dashboard” and there are no packages to display. Tracking packages is the primary reason I use the app. I sent in a help request that gave me an AI response that did not help and immediately closed the request. I’ve logged out and reinstalled a couple times to no avail. It’s a 5-star app when it works properly… hope that happens again.

**Developer response:** We are sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Please email the USPS Informed Delivery Mobile team at KH6WD0@usps.gov with more details so we can investigate this further. If you haven’t already done so, you may also want to consider downloading the latest version of the app, as updating may resolve the issue.

### 1/5 — Not working correctly

*2026-04-07, version 1.1.0*

Shows I have mail coming but will not show a picture of what it is

### 1/5 — Do Not Waste Your Time

*2026-04-06, version 1.1.0*

By far the most frustrating app I’ve ever attempted to use. Getting signed in is impossible…after entering dual authentication it repeatedly gives an error. Have never successfully logged into app without tech support. Useless.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work on login

*2026-04-05, version 1.1.0*

It crashes when you login. Useless.

### 1/5 — I cannot create an account or access an existing one

*2026-04-03, version 1.1.0*

The app says my account has been deleted. But trying to create a new one gets the response that the username and email are already taken. I see from other reviews that this is a common problem. I realize this is not the fault of the app itself but rather the processing going on behind it.

### 1/5 — No keyboard all of a sudden.

*2026-03-28, version 1.1.0*

Difficult to log in when there’s no keyboard.

### 1/5 — Makes you sign in every single time

*2026-03-26*

Love the app, I already subscribed to the emails and get every day w/o signing in

App is on my LOCKED phone, WHY require me to login every single time to access an app that shows my mail?? Apps, that do not make signing in simple… Will earn one star from me.

Update - Hey, USPS, how about you remove the requirement for someone to sign in EACH & EVERY they want to access the app - I have no problem with my login but it’s a PITA to access a simple app that does nothing more than show me a screenshot of my upcoming / past delivered mail. We’re not talking about a banking website!

**Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble signing in. Please email the USPS Informed Delivery Mobile team at KH6WD0@usps.gov with a brief description of what you’re seeing so we can help investigate the issue.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2026-03-26, version 1.1.0*

Constantly says things were delivered that weren’t and constantly logs me out for no reason

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2026-03-24, version 1.1.0*

The app has an error which prevents account from being set up.

### 1/5 — Pass on this

*2026-03-20, version 1.1.0*

This app does not like if u already have an account

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Far Superior To FedEx or UPS

*2026-08-20*

This app is far superior to either UPS or FedEx applications by far. It is very easy to navigate and allows you to leave instructions where to leave packages per delivery and nickname each delivery for easy quick recognition.

Those simple processes are a pain to accomplish with FedEx and UPS. Neither makes it easy to do many common sense tasks like this. And forget trying to access a real person when there is a problem. Since using ai voice systems that are meant to keep you in limbo, while USPS still provides access to real customer service support and the your local post office too.

### 5/5 — This app deserves more love

*2026-08-19*

This app has worked great for me since the beginning. I use biometrics to login every time and it works great. I like to view my mail each morning before it is delivered for the day. I like receiving the mail delivered push notification so I know when I can go to my mailbox and get my mail for the day

**Developer response:** Thank you for using Informed Delivery and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad you’re enjoying the app!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-08-19*

This app has been on point, providing me with the information I need, instead of me or my wife having to check the mail daily. Now we know what is in the mailbox and we can choose when to check the mail. Our mailbox is at the end of our street and is usually either driven by or waited until we return from an errand.

### 5/5 — Great service and app!

*2026-07-24*

The United States Postal Service is a wonderful government service—not a company or business—for the American people. Congress needs to repeal the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006. People in rural areas should be especially concerned and advocating for the USPS since privatization would negatively affect them the most.

As for the Informed Delivery app, I think it’s great! I can see the mail I’m expected to receive each day, plus any USPS-shipped packages. The notifications work well and it’ll even notify me when my mail has been delivered.

Keep up the great work providing a service to the American people!

**Developer response:** Thank you for using Informed Delivery and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad you’re enjoying the app!

### 5/5 — Care

*2026-04-03, version 1.1.0*

### 5/5 — Love the app!

*2026-03-31, version 1.1.0*

Great app

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-03-24, version 1.1.0*

Love it

### 5/5 — Way more useful than I would’ve thought!!!

*2026-03-16, version 1.0.0*

I downloaded this app based on a demonstration given at a previous job. Fast forward to today… I use it on an almost daily basis. And it is honestly the only app I allow notifications from.

Pros: I love that it shows scans of every individual piece of mail I get and I can look back and see what mail I got when. It is also so useful when I have priority mail / packages shipped via USPS.

Cons: None

An easy 5 stars from this avg, “every day” user.

### 5/5 — Great - one suggestion

*2026-02-26, version 1.0.0*

Works great for package tracking once I've gotten to know it better. To completely replace the app I was using before, it would be great if the push notifications for packages displayed the nickname for the shipment, if one was added, instead of the tracking number.

### 5/5 — Login bug fixed, now it’s perfect

*2026-02-03, version 1.0.0*

Thank you for fixing the bug where I had to type in my password every time I opened the app. Now I can just Face ID. Technology is amazing.
