If you like FT Edit, but want a more diverse range of articles and political opinions, then this app is for you. With the amount of news (and fake news) available now, it is impossible to read it all, Informed finds the best and most interesting articles from a diverse array of publications. I think this app does a fantastic job providing a concise daily amount of news from the best publications. My only wish to improve it would be to include a daily summation of news for that day as per Reuters Dailly Briefing. I am sure the AI could somehow generate this. Yes, there’s a subscription but the option to pay monthly or annually adds some flexibility. Sure, other news apps are free but the experience, surfacing of quality journalism from various sources, and always waking up to a new selection of curated articles is well worth paying. Also, the option to listen to articles is great when you are on the move.
