Aiming to maintain the high quality of the urban space of Quinta do Lago and considering the specificity and spatial framework of this residential and tourist area in Loulé, the Municipality of Loulé and Quinta do Lago, SA, joined and created at the end of 1995 Infraquinta - Infrastructure Company of Quinta do Lago SA, which started its activity on January 1, 1996. At present Loulé City Council holds 51% of the capital stock and Quinta do Lago, SA holds 49%. The creation of the company aimed specifically at gathering a set of skills and knowledge, that would allow a good management of the infrastructure and public spaces of Quinta do Lago and in this way guarantee the maintenance of the high quality standards of this urban space.
