## What is iNgoma?

iNgoma is a fast, privacy-conscious music recognition app created with African music discovery at its heart.

Identify music playing around you—from popular hits to local and emerging African artists across genres, languages and regions. Simply tap Listen, and iNgoma captures a short audio sample, securely checks it for a match and displays the song title, artist, album, artwork and available music-service links.

Features:
• Recognise African and international music playing nearby
• Discover artists and songs from across the African continent
• Search for music by typing or using voice search
• View song titles, artists, albums and artwork
• Save favourites for quick access
• Keep a recognition history on your device
• Share music discoveries with friends
• Open available matches in Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube
• Choose from supported interface languages
• Clear your local history and manage privacy settings

iNgoma does not require an account. Recognition history and favourites are stored locally on your device. Short audio samples are used only to identify music and are not retained by the iNgoma gateway. Optional anonymous analytics remain off until you give consent.

Discover the sound of Africa—and music from around the world—with iNgoma.
