I just wish this app had more versatility like changing size, picking a custom color, and LAYERS. I know this app is geared more towards the casual Instagram editor, but it really has potential for more advanced features. At the very least you need a fine eraser. I wanted to use this app to make fine sketch outlines over photos, but the giant erasers make it more trouble than it's worth. A white option for dark backgrounds is desperately needed too. Anyway, this is a great free app for anyone who just wants to write or doodle onto photos, but for anything more advanced there are way better options out there. ### 2/5 — 2* at best *2016-02-27, version 3.1* I too love the doodling and thought it was a create way for me to draw/color/and make photo edits that were for my niece and nephew. Something they could get into as well. No save and work later feature and if you doodle too far "swiping" to another app all the work you have done is as "blank" as when you first start. Even if it is a free app the time lost on a drawing that took nearly an hour was certainly not "free" time I can get back! Boo on this! I'd rather pay for an app that has common sense features as basic as save and edit later. ### 4/5 — More features needed. *2016-01-02, version 3.1* I always think that if I press harder the thickness will change, but it doesn't. I often use this app to highlight text, so I have to highlight the words twice to cover the height of the words. I also wish that there were markers for dark backgrounds (like blackboard markers). I use the pink eraser for this purpose, but it erases, so it doesn't work if I need to go directly over the image or words that I want to stand out. ### 5/5 — Super fun! *2015-11-13, version 3.1* I use this app all the time! There are a few recommendations I would love to see though! I wish I could alter the thickness/thinness of the utensils and wish I could choose a solid background color to color on instead of just the white. Still an excellent all! What used to be a cool, easy and fun app has switched teams on us. For years, you've never needed (us) to allow you FULL ACCESS on our device & all was well in our kingdoms. We worked well, accomplished many a great thing & were happy.... Sadly, that's all changed; those days are over. You left us in the trenches taking grenades...& Im wicked-mad! You never required full access on our keyboard--till now. Read the privacy regulations. You're never going to use our info for anything--unless you're collecting data for it...even though nothing will happen when full access is granted--you're not responsible if (accidentally) our personal information is leaked.... You're giving me an ultimatum; sweets, you ain't ELVIS and there's a plethora of your type out there...don't tell me I have to let you access anything! Take your toothbrush & don't go away mad; just go away... ### 1/5 — What was Apple thinking? *2014-10-24, version 1.0.1* What was Apple thinking by allowing developers full access to everything we type, including credit card info and personal information? You have to allow full access in order to get full functionality, in the dumper this will go, along with all other keyboards that require this. ### 1/5 — Doesn't function *2014-10-24, version 1.0.1* I would give this app 0 stars, but I had to chose atleast one. I downloaded this with the hopes of sending quick doodles & it does the opposite. You can not copy & paste, even if you could that's too much work when you can just hit send. I definitely deleted this app right after downloading it, please fix this problem. ### 2/5 — Picture Comes Up as a Black Screen *2021-08-15, version 4.0.0* I use to love this app... especially for annotating pictures I send to family members frame apps. However, since upgrading to IOS 14.7.1 (I'm not sure if this happened in IOS 14.7 because I skipped that update), when I bring up Inkboard from my photos app the picture displays for only a brief moment before changing to a completely black screen. Deleting and reinstalling hasn't helped. ### 2/5 — STILL Crashes, gets stuck! STILL awaiting a Fix! *2019-11-09, version 3.3* With the new iOS 13, (also with 13.2 and 13.3 FB!) when accessing any of the options under the ‘Share’ icon, the app locks up. The only solution is to quit the application to continue use. Really needs to get fixed, but doesn’t seem like they’ve made updates for a long, long time. WILL YOU FIX IT!! ### 2/5 — Needs more options/control *2016-09-20, version 3.3* Certain tools are too small - you should be able to adjust the width of the highlighter. Would've been a 5-star app if it didn't compress and make your pictures blurry as heck. Try editing an iPad screenshot and you'll see what I mean.
