UPDATE... 2026. I haven’t had an iPad for years… but now finally. Went to restore Inkflow Plus so I could review old drawings (saved in DropBox). Now I can’t restore the full purchase, nor access my saved files (backups). Waiting for a response from Developer/Apple. 

I previously rated Inkflow 5-star —- it was an awesome little tool with its own peculiar and unique charm unrivalled in its methodology.

Many years ago… Still using and still loving this App. Nothing in my Graphic App collection compares to Inkflow for capturing and developing those initial flashes you get in a briefing session - and aren't they often the ones that stick. This app gives me the ability to stay in the moment, every tool mod accessible on the page (and all my notes) - it's brilliant. THANK YOU. For super loose feel images I often don't even need to progress them through the rest of the workflow tools (procreate, photoshop illustrator etc). 

 Sept 2012 : I have quite a few apps for drawing, painting, doodling - each app has it's own distinct flow when it comes to the touch of drawing. This one has a place too - I keep coming back to it for a certain style and function that fills the gap between sophisticated painting/drawing programs and note-taking apps that aren't quite there for me. I've been playing the field with other contenders, but over the better part of a year the free version of Inkflow, cobbled as it is, has proven to be the better tool as a visual art diary. I'm ready to upgrade. Hope it doesn't disappoint. (A year... yeah I take my time!)

I can only warn you to pay for this app - you will still see ads on the starting page every time! Also, there is no cloud - every note is stored on one device, and one device only. You can export them manually, but that‘s a tedious task, especially with multiple notes.

I was actually very disappointed in this app, as it seemed like it had a lot of potential but ultimately the unappealing clunky appearance, gimmicky feautures, lackluster quality, and poor selection of note taking tools just didn't work out with me.

Unfortunately the base version is too restricted to figure out the utility and worth of a $10 investment to the Inkflow Plus version. 

The online user guide does look promising BUT having paid for other apps only to then discover illogical implementations or undocumented limitations, I can only say this base version is too limited and cumbersome (just try to copy & paste). And with NO trial period to test out the ‘Plus’ features, my $10 will remain mine.

Sincerely so intuitive and easy to use (especially with the AP). 

Wish you could pick you own colors for pens and highlights… That’s it. My only criticism.

I paid for the plus version but it got taken away. What happened?  Why do I only have the free version now? Sometimes when it would update I would have to go & restore my upgrade purchase but that is not available anymore. I paid for the plus version & now I don’t have it anymore.

What makes it even worse is that you cannot event contact support because there isn’t one!!!

I was looking around for a bit to find out that there is no erase!! What!? You have to pay to get things that are essential to take notes or draw. What’s the point in even having an app that’s free, but you can basically do nothing!? I highly do not recommend this

HELP! Your feedback form will not accept any email address therefore I cannot send this to you in that way. I have used the paid Inkflow Plus app for 3 years successfully but more recently it keeps crashing and losing work and in some cases just undoing work that I have input without crashing. Very difficult to keep track of what it has accepted and what it has thrown out making it impossible for me to continue to use this app, which is a shame as it has been very useful. If this app is no longer stable could you please give me the same access on Noteflow as it appears to work in a similar way? Thanks. Gus Critchlow

Paid for the upgrade and all of a sudden I lost all my info after more than a year! Do not pay!!!!! Huge rip off!!

I paid for the upgrade because I really liked this app, but it was so buggy I have asked for a refund. First the pen button bugged out and every time I pressed it the app closed. I managed to fix it by deleting and reinstalling during which I managed to lose a whole book which I had assumed had saved in my iCloud. It hadn’t. After this every time I closed the app I lost some progress in whatever I was working on. I started looking at other apps that do the same and found Noteshelf which has a lot more features, stability and usability for the same money. Please don’t make my mistake and pay for this app until you’ve done a lot more homework.

I was hoping to see capability to insert text and pictures be added and was very happy to see those features with the new rev. It is a very stable app. I love that in contrast to most other drawing apps you can flip the selected portion easily.

I really love this app, always have done.
I’ve used it for many years now. I love the ease of including text or picture and I love the fact that there are not too many features…. Plenty of course but not endless. That way you can be more creative. I’ve never reviewed an app before but as I’ve just spent a happy hour playing with a couple of pages I decided to do so before bed…. It’s getting late. Thank you to all at inkflow and crayon.

I use this for all my hobbies and creative work. Learning guitar, electronics diagrams, project notes of all kinds. It’s intuitive and don’t know what I’d replace it with if it didn’t exist.
