## What is Inklune?

A diary that stays yours.

Inklune doesn't keep your writing inside an app. Entries are saved as Markdown
files in a folder you pick, and those files are the originals. Delete the app and
the writing stays where it is. Open it in another editor and it reads just the
same. A service shutting down can't take your writing with it.

■ Write today

Write in Markdown and watch it take shape as you type. Bold, italics, text color,
highlighter, hashtags - and what lands on disk is still a plain text file.

· Add a photo, a mood, a place, and your step count to the day
· Stop partway and the entry is kept for you - pick it up next time
· Seal an entry and it stays shut until the day you pick

■ Looking back

· List, Feed, Calendar, Map - the same days, four ways to see them
· Full-text search finds a single word in years of entries
· Tags, places, and years gather on their own
· This day years ago, a line you wrote, the tags you reach for - the app brings them back on its own

■ One volume, written together (exchange diary)

Invite one person and take turns filling one volume. Hand the diary over and it's
theirs, and you can't read it again until they hand it back. The way a paper
exchange diary always worked.

· Letters travel end-to-end encrypted. The server can't read them
· No sign-up, no account. A twelve-word recovery phrase brings your identity back
· If your partner has been quiet, send a nudge or get the diary back
· A sealed letter opens on the day you chose
· Finish a volume and it goes on the shelf

■ Days add up to stamps

A stamp is issued each time you pass a milestone - a first entry, a twentieth
letter, the end of a volume. What's waiting stays out of sight until you get
there. Coming across one is better than counting down to it.

■ Bring it in, take it out

· Import a Day One export, or a folder of Markdown files
· Export a whole journal as a zip
· App lock with a PIN or Face ID keeps it out of sight

■ Inklune Pro (one-time purchase, not a subscription)

Writing entries, reading them, and finding them again - all of that is free. One
exchange diary is free too, all the way through. Pro is for when you want to go
further.

· Exchange diaries with more people - up to 50 rooms
· Seal a letter so it opens on the day you pick (reading sealed letters you receive is free)
· Automatic step tracking
· Extra room decorations

Buy it once and that's it. Nothing renews, and there's nothing to cancel.

■ What you won't find here

· No sign-up
· No ads
· No likes, no followers, nothing to measure yourself against
