It even has a lineage going back to a nice open source offering. The only thing that is preventing me from liking and using this app is that it cannot really import SVG files. Every SVG file I tried, including ones generated by Inkpad itself, come through horribly distorted. Borders are all wrong, text sizes are out of control, and generally it would take hours to correct the mistakes in the imported image. That coupled with the fact that inkpad has its own format and stores its files in a hidden location means that you have no chance at meaningful interoperability with other editors. If you can commit to using Inkpad exclusively, this editor would be quite nice. However, I need to be able to import assets and edit files on my Mac as well. I simply cannot do that with Inkpad. **Developer response:** I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble with SVG import and export. Inkpad has been tested with many example files and graphic design apps. Please get in touch so that we can figure out what is the cause of the issue. ### 3/5 — Inkpad vector, focused, 3.3.16 works on OS26 *2025-10-23, version 3.3.16* Inkpad by Envoza v3.3.16 said to work on OS26. I haven’t tried as I’m still on 18.7. It’s a great vector illustration tool. Exports out to png, svg, svgz, pdf, and more. Handy imports png and pdf into Procreate app etc. Some keyboard shortcuts. Works offline. Unique menu but fun to use. The YouTube (4yrs ago) tutorials help. Best instruction are on its website. Решила вспомнить. Но на экране горит купи подписку. Даже интерфейс посмотреть не возможно. Знаю, что есть пробный бесплатный период. Но хоть давали бы один лист без него, можно даже без со-ранения, чтоб понять, надо ли дальше пробовать или нет. Теперь, пока я точно знать не буду, что мне нужен вектор, сюда даже не зайду. Thanks for nothing... ### 4/5 — A Solid Vector Art Application *2024-12-13* I’m new to vector art (who’s mostly used Procreate) and I’ve been pretty pleased with this app (enough to become a paid subscriber). There’s a bit of a learning curve, and the interface can be a bit confusing (mostly when it comes to things like copying & pasting), but the tutorials have been adequate. One major thing that I wish this app had was a comprehensive mirroring feature. Currently, to accomplish a perfectly symmetrical object, you must create half of it, copy the half, flip the half, and align it with the original. Then there are issues resolving a gap that appears down the middle. This necessitates combining paths, and that creates overlapping issues, and so on. Also, you better be finished with the design before you manually mirror, because any changes will require a repetition of the process. Another feature that I’d appreciate (if possible with vector art) would be the ability to enable/disable the outline on a per-section basis along with the ability to fade it at the ends. Good app, though! ### 3/5 — Leider nicht wie gewünscht nutzbar bzw. svg-Datei nicht kompatibel mit anderen Grafikprogrammen *2024-10-16, version 3.3.14* Ich nutze Inkpad mit iPad Air. Die erstellten exportierten svg-Dateien beinhalten keine Linien oder Flächen und somit ist das Programm für mich sinnlos. ### 4/5 — Grundsätzlich zufrieden, aber… *2024-09-09, version 3.3.13* …es fehlt definitiv die Möglichkeit, die Größe von Objekten direkt (in mm) sehen und ändern zu können. Selbst Coreldraw konnte das schon. Manchmal möchte ich Zeichnungsobjekte (z.B. Karten) millimetergenau ausdrucken können. ### 4/5 — Bouncing menu not good *2024-07-09, version 3.3.11* Been using this app since 2019 and not a fan of the new bouncing menu or pop up addition. When you click anything it kind of bounces up instead of just opening like normal. If there’s a way to turn this feature off, let me know!! Seems unnecessary. ### 2/5 — A wonderful splash screen to subscribe… *2024-03-12, version 3.3.11* But nothing else. I’m not subscribing just to test. There’s too much competition in the field to subscribe and test. I don’t need to save, I don’t mind being kicked off after 10min, the only reason to set up forced subscribe is hoping people forget to cancel. I am a dev and believe in paying for software. But the user should decide if the app is worth paying for. this is just sleazy. ### 4/5 — Works with 1st gen Apple pencil. *2024-01-01, version 3.3.11* I just realized that i use Apple Pencil first gen with Inkpad by Envoza. I’ve always enjoyed using inkpad on the 10.5 inch i have and will continue use. I don't particularly like the subscription approach, but would prefer to buy it outright. I recently needed to adapt these diagrams for a new project. I was surprised to find that the app was now subscription-only, and its function to “restore purchase” only gave me errors. I could not even download my old work without signing up for some form of subscription (at least there was a free month). Emails to the developer weeks ago have gone unanswered, so I can’t give this app any form of positive review. **Developer response:** No emails have been received regarding your problem. Haven’t had a chance to use it in a while since switching to mostly Blender pipeline but thought could become part of the process again. Excellent app for vector based drawing on iPad but now that you’re forced to go to the crappy monthly subscription model, it’s no longer worth it IMHO. All access to previous drawings is now loss unless one signs up for at least a “free” trial month. Sure, occasional cost for newer version upgrades is acceptable but not a forced monthly subscription.
